A very charming and relaxed place to spend the night. The view from the house was beautiful especially while being viewed from the veranda at breakfast. The hosts were gracious, courteous, and very attentive. The breakfast service was exceptionally pleasant and the crepes were delicious! The facilities (toilet and showers) are communal as advertised. My room had a sink which was very convenient.

This was my second time in Rouyn, and I was not disappointed...

This was my second time in Rouyn, and I was not disappointed. It is a wonderfully friendly community and has everything you need for a good stay. One could drive through Rouyn and enjoy the country side, then wonder through the city to find great shops and restaurants. During both visits to this community, we have found the people extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend visiting there.

it is a gateway to the expanse North of Quebec that allows something for everyone. I would strongly recommend those who are looking to do the Billy Diamond Highway ( James Bay Road ) trip, start from here.

its a beautiful little town by the lake with charming characteristics .. it has nice little restaurants (waffle place, pubs, outside patios) music by the lake ( local and non local bands) made on site chocolate store and more

I came for the FME festival and it was amazing!

I came for the FME festival and it was amazing! I love the Cabaret de la dernière chance and Petit Theatre venues. Lots of restaurants around city centre, walking distance from most hotels. Nice Lake Osisko to walk around.

There's a few good stores if you want to go shopping. good place for pre-teens to wander around the city. There's this mini-costco like store in the town. Its pretty great if you don't feel like traveling further down south to get costco items.

Rouyn is a gem that is definitely worth to discover!

Rouyn is a gem that is definitely worth to discover! People are nice and the city (and region) offers so much to discover. Yes, go in the summer, of course, enjoy the FME (Festival de musique émergente), one of Quebec's best and greatest event but also visit Rouyn in the Winter as it is such an incredible place. Brunch at St. Exupéry, local market on saturday, fabulous botanical gardens. Go explore it all!
