The pool, steam room and hot tub were so clean and had the most amazing view.
Our rooms were spotless and housekeeping staff so very friendly.
They accommodated us getting an adjoining room which i asked for the week before we arrived.

CanadaWe were amazed by how well-stocked this suite was as far as food and drink options. Definitely had the "bed and breakfast" feel that is hard to find nowadays. Also the hosts were very friendly, it was quite clean, the bed was comfortable, fantastic shower, and convenient yard.

CanadaThe hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The space was well appointed and had everything we needed for our one night stay. When I suggested a stool to reach the higher cabinets (I’m short), Susan brought one immediately. Breakfast was delicious and tailored to our varied preferences. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and well situated to quickly get anywhere in North Vancouver as well as close to the second Narrows Bridge to get into Vancouver or out to the valley. There is parking on the property and on the street. We travelled as a family of four adults and we were all impressed!

The host made “care” packages of food if you were not available for breakfast. She made breakfasts fresh and they were attractively displayed. The property is secured, so we were able to let our dog roam free in the garden. Seating is provided outside. When the weather was good, we were able to take advantage of that. Unlike some Band B’s we were able to come and go throughout the day. The host is a personable, caring and efficient person who was sensitive to our every need. North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. This place was awful from customer service from the host to the details on the posting. Felt like a scam the entire time I dealt with them because once I booked a non-refundable stay he had no incentive to care about me. Sam, the host, seems to be of the mindset that the more aggressive you are with your travelers the better. He was rude, inflexible and did nothing to make me, a single woman traveling alone, feel comfortable or safe. Sam was completely unwilling to refund any portion of my booking once I told him I was feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. When I booked this place I was under the impression that I had a small "beautiful house" to myself. A week before the booking I found out that it's a guest house, so it shared common spaces with other travelers. The description on the listing is vague enough that it is hard to tell what accommodations each level of guest has. I asked questions to find out more but he kept just referring me back to the listing. He evaded my questions that could have easily made me more comfortable such as "Is there a lock on the bedroom?" "How are security and noise handled?" "What are the shared spaces with other travelers like?" Ultimately he chose to stand tall on his non-refundable policy vs listening to and being empathic toward a unique situation in which someone was not feeling safe with the lack of information provided and newly learning that I'd be sharing space with strangers, including Sam. Booking.com was absolutely terrible to deal with as well. In the end I chose my safety over my money and lost the entire booking cost. North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around...
North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around away from downtown because of the traffic. Suspension bridge is the best place to visit, some of the parks are great too like the spin needle.
