Fantastic staff! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Neda at reception was exceptional, she made everything seamless and welcoming. The housekeeping team was also incredibly friendly. Peter and Samantha were wonderful too!

The property was very clean and well-maintained. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meals at the Medley restaurant. We liked that our room had a king size bed, a couch, a desk, and a table with two chairs while there was still room to move around easily.

Everything. We're very pleased with the space. The original plan was only for only 4 friends but, a fifth friend joined us last minute. In the living room, the oversized sofa accommodated two persons separately and comfortably.

Best value you can get for the price, much better than a hotel, especially for bigger family with kids. The home looks like newly renovated with quality materials, and nicely decorated, has everything needed for comfort living. A lot of space for everyone inside + nice backyard. Big kitchen, easy to cook if you need that. Check-in was super easy, just drive from the small back street and park in front of white garage. Very short drive to downtown, not far from beach with playground.

High quality breakfasts, good quantity, varied options. The host made “care” packages of food if you were not available for breakfast. She made breakfasts fresh and they were attractively displayed. The property is secured, so we were able to let our dog roam free in the garden. Seating is provided outside. When the weather was good, we were able to take advantage of that. Unlike some Band B’s we were able to come and go throughout the day. The host is a personable, caring and efficient person who was sensitive to our every need. Overall a great place to stay.

I just needed a place to relax for a couple hours and sleep, as I was roasted from traveling. This place was perfect. I had a cozy room with a comfortable bed downstairs in a very nice house. The instructions for getting in were sent by message. I actually did not meet the host or any other guests the entire time I was there, which for me was a plus. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home.

North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.

West Vancouver is beautiful and natural with trees and ocean. I went to Pawan Indian Food and it was fantastic. The waiter was friendly and focused. The food was generous enough to take home food for another meal. First day of my trip I went for a relaxing facial at CUR’s Beauty Salon in Park Royal. I would like to live in North Vancouver! The road signs in West Vancouver are abundant and clear for an easy ride. For a solo I thought of visit a beach in West Vancouver but never made it.

North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around...

North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around away from downtown because of the traffic. Suspension bridge is the best place to visit, some of the parks are great too like the spin needle. Our stay was shoert so didn't have enough time to visit other places.

This place was awful from customer service from the host to...

This place was awful from customer service from the host to the details on the posting. Felt like a scam the entire time I dealt with them because once I booked a non-refundable stay he had no incentive to care about me. Sam, the host, seems to be of the mindset that the more aggressive you are with your travelers the better. He was rude, inflexible and did nothing to make me, a single woman traveling alone, feel comfortable or safe. Sam was completely unwilling to refund any portion of my booking once I told him I was feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. When I booked this place I was under the impression that I had a small "beautiful house" to myself. A week before the booking I found out that it's a guest house, so it shared common spaces with other travelers. The description on the listing is vague enough that it is hard to tell what accommodations each level of guest has. I asked questions to find out more but he kept just referring me back to the listing. He evaded my questions that could have easily made me more comfortable such as "Is there a lock on the bedroom?" "How are security and noise handled?" "What are the shared spaces with other travelers like?" Ultimately he chose to stand tall on his non-refundable policy vs listening to and being empathic toward a unique situation in which someone was not feeling safe with the lack of information provided and newly learning that I'd be sharing space with strangers, including Sam. Booking.com was absolutely terrible to deal with as well. In the end I chose my safety over my money and lost the entire booking cost. Do not book here and do not use booking.com, they do not support their customers in a situation like this.

Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the North Shore...

Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the North Shore Mountains, North Vancouver uniquely blends rugged nature with urban convenience. Its proximity to vast forests, including Lynn Canyon and Mount Seymour, offers a plethora of free hiking trails, from gentle riverside strolls to challenging mountain ascents. While perhaps not widely known for it, a few pockets in North Vancouver offer authentic and flavourful Persian cuisine ( Parse Persian Food is my favorite ), providing a delicious contrast to the area's natural bounty. This combination of accessible wilderness, complete with waterfalls and suspension bridges, and the occasional aromatic hint of saffron and cardamom, creates a truly distinctive character.
