This was our first time to PEI and it won’t be our last!

This was our first time to PEI and it won’t be our last! Truly exceptional people, the province is beautiful and a refreshing welcome of older respectful values! It’s August- high season but it still didn’t feel over crowded. We can’t give enough stars to this Canadian gem.

Summerside is always beautiful.

Summerside is always beautiful. It's much less busy than other areas on the island and has beautiful water views. It is such a quick drive to predominantly anywhere you want to go from Summerside.

The cabins were adorable and it’s in the perfect location, close to all the fun sites you’d want to visit. The staff was incredible and everything was very clean. They offer free hot showers which was a nice surprise. It was so peaceful, our 2.5 year old was probably the loudest one there haha. Definitely worth the price. We are already planning to go back next year. One con is that it would have been nice to have some more play ground equipment for our toddler to enjoy!

Cottage was really cute and well equipped with everything we needed but could be updated and a bit more modern. Horses were a delight. Pool was great, but again lounge chairs and umbrellas would make it really great. Wifi was a bit wonky some days - we were able to run phones, a laptop, Firestick and Alexa but not perfectly. Not sure it would have been strong enough if I had planned to work there. It was a done deal because our dog was welcome and that's worth everything to us! Highly recommend.

We loved this little village with a great beach, boardwalk, grocery store, gift shops, ice cream parlor and restaurants. We ate breakfast at Tide and Tales twice and had a fantastic seafood dinner at On the Dock (their lobster biscuits are divine!) It's a central location and isn't as touristy and busy as Cavendish, but it's a short drive to that community's attractions.

We loved that Montague was away from the busier cities. Better for adults without younger children. Close to a couple of nice beaches and lots of nice restaurants. Loved being on the river by the marina.

It was a quiet location with parking for our rental car. The unit itself was very well kept and clean. The owner readily suggested places for us to see. He also recommended a small grocery store which was close by.

Stratford is minutes away drive to Charlottetown, so it is a nice choice to stay while in PEI. The whole island is beautiful, with beautiful sunsets and calm beaches to swim and enjoy during a warm day. I recommend the fish and chips at Churchill Arms on Queen Street in Charlottetown. They are well served and delicious. We had lobster roll at Peakes Quay Restaurant Bar and it was very good! Try it with their homemade berry sauce, it is so delicious!
