We have stayed in this hotel 3/4 years ago and since then it has been upgraded . The facilities are excellent and the staff welcoming and helpful . The location is amazing -our rooms had a river view. The hotel has an 'arrangement' with the adjacent Du Point hotel and we had an excellent fondue and breakfast there .

Fabulous hotel. Very clean and modern and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Complementary water, fruit and sweets in reception. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great facilities in the hotel and located very centrally.

The apartment has everything you need to cook. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of variety. Check in went smoothly, make sure to follow the instructions on the app before you arrive. Friendly staff.

We booked a regular room but they gave us a premium one. Even though we booked a room 2 hours in advance (at 10PM), the requested cot was already installed in the room. Very happy about this stay and will probably return on our way back home. With 2 kids, they gave us a spot at a quiet breakfast area which was very nice, as it was super busy and a bit hectic in the breakfast restaurant.

That was art, not a stay. The rare view, the room design, the quiet. Superb

Very centrally located Hotel near the Messe but also very close to city center. Very good connections to train stations. Breakfast was nice and also the staff very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful location - right in the heart of the old city. Not too far from the train station. Plus, a Christmas Market was right outside the hotel. But it wasn't noisy. Comfortable room.

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Styles Hotel! First and foremost, the staff were absolutely wonderful—everyone from the receptionists to the breakfast team, and the cleaners were genuinely friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also excellent. It’s within walking distance of the train station (SBB) and just a 20-minute walk to St. Jacobshalle event venue.. For anyone planning to visit for an event at St. Jacob's and who doesn’t mind walking 20-30 mins this hotel is a great choice. I was anxious about the walk when booking however the walk was just a straight road. Very safe walking and easy to cross roads with lots of zebra crossings. While there aren’t many restaurants in the immediate area, there is a fantastic Thai restaurant just opposite to the right of the hotel. The hotel itself doesn’t serve food beyond breakfast, but the breakfast provided was excellent for a 3-star hotel, with plenty of options including gluten free (gluten free bread 👌). The 24-hour coffee machine offering tea and various coffee choices, which was a great touch. Don't be put off by other reviews where people state about the nearby railway track. The railway track has no interference with this hotel. Overall, Ibis Styles is located in a good location perfect for accessing St Jacobshalle and Basel city. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay. The room a good size and warm. Beds comfortable. Everything was clean. A good choice for breakfast. The hotel is in a great location...easy walk to station, river and old town. All perfect for us!!!

Great location for airport and old town. V easy early morning car journey to airport (several times due to airport closure!). Extremely efficient, friendly and helpful staff.
