QatarVery warm and friendly staff. We arrived late but they were still waiting for us. We were about to leave very early and we asked if they could make some sandwiches and coffee for us before official breafast timings and they also could find time to accomodate our request. We were even offered space for our car in garage. Despite hotel being next to road, it was very quiet and we had no problems sleeping. Room was very cozy and clean.

SwitzerlandWe travel a lot, and our stay here surprised us and became one of our all-time best Swiss hotel experiences. We traveled to the area to enjoy the Swiss mountains and snow. After a quick check-in, the hotel owner carried our luggage to our room and had he pre-heated our room. This was a nice touch since we had just come from a 4-hour snowshoe walk. There was a dish of homemade chocolates on the table. We had an incredible 3-course salmon dinner at a surprisingly low price. In Switzerland, I would expect to pay 50+ CHF per person but it was only 30. CHF. The 3 course meal was a highlight. The view from the dining area is spectacular too. We plan to visit this hotel again because, as I said, it was one of our best experiences ever.

The location was extremely convenient, not far from the Sport Center Fontauna and the funicular to Caishavedra. The common kitchen is well organized and has everything you need for a dinner with friends and family: dishwasher, stoves, kitchen supplies and even board games.
Our room was right under the roof, on the third floor (beware, there is no elevator). It was very spacious with a sitting area and a sleeping area. It was very comfortable to read on the sofa one of the books from the shelf.

We stayed in the apartment with 3 bedrooms, however, only two of the bedrooms were unlocked. Which was fine since it was the four of us. We appreciated the 1.5 bath and small kitchen area! There's also a fondu and raclette set, if you want to stay in and cook...which we ended up doing for 2 out the 3 nights we stayed. The hotel is close to the train stop and ski lift, about a 5min walk? The breakfast in the morning was lovely. We would def stay again.

We stayed for one night at the hostel, there are hotels...
We stayed for one night at the hostel, there are hotels available but the hostel was enough practical and sufficient for us, family of 4 for one night. I wish we could stay longer as we loved it, everything exceeded our expectations and more. The views are stunning, the whole area is well organised with plenty to do. Would recommend to all our friends.T
Here is a visitor pass available which covers a gondola, ski lifts and trains, a great value for your money. On the top of mountain are activities available from tobogan to swim in a lake to mountain biking, paragliding to hiking.

Small rustic hotel, well kept with modern touches short walk to everything. Balcony was larger than at similar hotels. You could probably eat dinner out there in the warmer months with a folding table.

The owners are very nice hosts, location is awesome if you're looking for scenery and calmness, very comfortable sleeping. We have received a complimentary upgrade (were super happy to use a terrace, with comfy chairs, chaise-longues, trampoline and even pet rabbits!) The breakfast was very generous, keeping in mind that at the date we stayed, there were not many guests. There is also a communal Kitchen with facilities, such as appliances, tableware, coffee, etc...

The area was new to us but offered an unusual range of alpine experiences: Up the cablecars of the region for high mountain landscapes (The Guest Card issued by the apartment owner on behalf of the town was great value, giving free unlimited rides on the cable cars); Walks from nearby villages through lovely green meadows (And the occasional walkers suspension bridge); Trips into side valleys for wilder country and real mountain peace; Just over the Lucomagno Pass into Ticino for some of the loveliest of alpine meadows; and down river to the grandeur of the Rhein-Schlucht (Gorge)
