- From $377 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 203 reviewsOne of the best experiences so far! The location is perfect and close to the hiking route. All staff helped us A LOT! They are like close friends to everyone; they solve our problems patiently, and generally care about us very much! We felt really homey and safe with their arrangements. The included breakfast, lunch bag, and dinner are delicate! GOOD FOOD and DRINK. AGAIN, thanks to all staff in Ecocamp!Guest review byXiaChina

The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.Guest review byMariaUnited States

We stayed for lunch since our catamaran sailing was canceled due to extreme wind. We loved strolling along the waterfront in Puerto Natales,...
We loved strolling along the waterfront in Puerto Natales, taking in the stunning mountain and fjord views - especially beautiful at sunset. The town center was charming, full of cozy shops and local crafts. Getting around was easy since Puerto Natales is small and very walkable, so you don’t really need a car unless you’re heading out to Torres del Paine. Our trip was packed with unforgettable experiences. We tackled the challenging but rewarding hike to the base of the Torres del Paine, where the towering granite spires and turquoise glacial lake left us speechless. We also enjoyed the Tour Lago Grey, about 104 km from town, where we got close to the impressive Grey Glacier and admired the iconic Cuernos del Paine. A visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument, located roughly 26 km north of Puerto Natales, gave us a fascinating glimpse into the region’s ancient past. For meals, we savored local flavors at Mesita Grande, where we tried guanaco meat cooked in traditional style. We stocked up on groceries at Unimarc Puerto Natales and Frutería La Sureña, which had everything we needed. To explore the area comfortably and at our own pace, we rented a Toyota Rush, a 7-seater SUV, from EMSA Rent A Car Avis sublicense for four days (10–14 April 2025), paying a total of 354,000 CLP. Over the course of our trip, we drove about 900 km, which gave us great flexibility. We also took an easy and affordable bus transfer from Puerto Natales Rodoviario station to Punta Arenas Terminal Bus-Sur.Guest review byDr_Igor_1971Malaysia - 8.0

Coihaique is a town of about 60k, so not small, but quaint and not touristy at all. Plenty of good local eateries, grocery stores and whatever else you may need. Lovely rolling hills and the Andes mountains in the distance. Interesting geography and history of the area. We only stayed one night but wish we would've stayed a bit longer to see more.Guest review byRosemarieUnited States - 10.0
Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making.
Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making. Wish we could spend more time amongst the mountains and/or drive around exploring without having to worry about the lack of petrol station in TNP. The roads are mostly gravel with many many pot holes! Good to see sectors of the roads are being re-surfaced during our trip.Guest review byAnnaneoSingapore - 10.0

Hornopiren is an excellent base waiting for the ferry, but is also a good base to investigate the area around. The coastal route is simply beautiful with fisherman's village and real life stories in front of you. We have seen impressive birdlife, seals, dolphins and nice beaches. To the other side you can follow the bay on where the caratera austral was going to run. A much calmer coast with rain forest cover and beautiful views. There is also the area where the rio blanco and rio negro enter the bay. Beautiful rain forest with great tracking options. In a few words, Hornopiren is worth 2 or 3 days at least. b.t.w. November is great!Guest review byRoelof ArieUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Chaitén a lovely little town.
Chaitén a lovely little town. Its volcanic history is awe inspiring. Really interesting. Lots of places closed though, and it’s summer!! Seems a bit like a ghost town at weekends. The Patagonia green tour company well worth a visit, a great tour to the volcano and waterfall.Guest review byRosemarieUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Puerto Tranquilo is a "boom" town.
Puerto Tranquilo is a "boom" town. It looks to be experiencing growing pains and the zoning and growth of the town appears to be in the hands of the people of PT. Hopefully they will have the foresight to zone appropriately and grow in an manner that is good for the town as well as the tourism industry. The main attraction appears to be the San Raphael Glaciefr that is retreating at an alarming rate (thank you global warming.) It is what it is.Guest review byJImmie NayUnited States - 10.0
Small town with great food.
Small town with great food. The place i stayed was Yendagaia House and I highly recommend it. You can travel by road through Tierra del Fuego to see king penguins at Penguino Rey. The best kept secret here is the Parque Estromalitos. One of the few places in the world you can see them and it's just 10 minutes from this beautiful city.Guest review byMeenaIndia - 2.0

A charming, welcoming little town that serves as a base for excursions to Torres del Paine and either the King or Magellan penguins. It is a pleasant and quiet place with great coffee shops (Tapiz and History of Coffee among others) which have great cakes and delicious coffee, and restaurants (La Marmita and La Casa de Doña María) with excellent food at a reasonable price.Guest review byRafaelUnited Kingdom
