From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was absolutely impressed! Every single detail was perfect, from the reception to my room, and even the bar and restaurant. The staff truly made the experience exceptional: they were very professional, warm, and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. It is a beautiful hotel to stay in if you are visiting Douala. No cash money exchange available in the hotel Bring your slippers cause none is given to you unless you’re in a suite. Bring your little cartons of milk, cause none supplied in the rooms.

I attained the objective of my visit.

I attained the objective of my visit. But for the poor hygiene and sanitation at the Hotel Sawa, all other things were very good. Dinner at the Gemi Wing restaurant was excellent. I can easily move around Douala because of the availability of different transport options. On my net visit, I will avoid the Sawa Hotel

Douala is the life wire of the Cameroon economy, with lots...

Douala is the life wire of the Cameroon economy, with lots businesses centered here. It is easy to get around with yellow taxi, taxi from your hotel or using a mobile app to get a taxi. The town is at the sea bed of the atlantic ocean and the wouri river, heavy rainfall, hot and humid weather! Akwa, where my hotel was located, was not clean at all, especially at Boulevard Ahmadou Ahidjo. The streets had not been swept and refuse dump every where.
