It was clean. The gym was ok. Free laundry was a great perk. The laundry service was a delight. Most of that staff were nice and friendly. We did get a farewell gift with two packages of traditional Lanzhou tea.

Location, location, location. We only spent the night, but very close to west Lanzhou fast train and local night street food. ,

Great English-speaking staff. Great location - close to big Buddha statue. And great that they organise a van to take guests to Danxia coloured hills, Mati Si grottos and elsewhere. Highly recommended.
