Location is perfect next to Guilin railway station and bus station. Facilities are good, beds are big and comfy, rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is really good and helpful. They helped us book our train by writing our destinations in Chinese so it was much more easier at the train counter. The can also recommend you with good places to eat nearby. They kept our luggages a few days too while traveling.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. Special thanks to patiently trying to speak slow and clear Chinese to us beginners (English and apps also worked, communication overall good!). plenty of breakfast choices, also other meals provided. bikes can be rented just next door.

The hotel is located in stunning area. The views of the river valley, the mountains and the sunrises were awesome. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Nobody spoke English, but despite that the communication was very good. Xianggong Mountain is a very short walk away and provides a fantastic view of the river valley. Xingping Town is a must see and the hotel provided free shuttle to and from the river ferry. The river is only a few hundred metres wide and so the ferry trip lasts just a few minutes.

Located in a small and remote village, this experience is more of a home stay with friends, than a swanky hotel. This was perfect for us while looking for comfort and peace. The guesthouse is clean, well-decorated, and warm. The food was a highlight, with the hostess being well-versed in both western and Chinese cooking, and even bringing us up afternoon tea with her homemade cakes every day. The hosts were happy to help us arrange cars and bikes for us to get around conveniently, and gave us an introduction to the area and the best places to go.

You know Yangshuo is a pearl of the Guangxi. I don't want to give spoilers-it's absolutely amazing. Just go there and enjoy all those gorgeous views. Relax in those mountains, do rest in the Terraced Rice Fields. Don't forget to climb to the Xianggong Mountain. And imagine yourself a tea farmer. Go the the river trip from Yangdi to Ma Mountain. Go to swimming in the Lijiang or Yulong River. And these are not all the things that you should see in Yangshuo. As for choosing the place where to stay-in Yangshuo or Guilin-I highly recommend Yangshuo.

I liked the tranquility of the resort and even when crowded, you can still find peaceful spots on the property. I liked how most of the staff went our their way to make our stay comfortable and try to fulfill all our wishes. My son enjoyed the ponds and breakfast with peacocks! It was truly a blissful sight. I'd like to thank Ian for bringing our in room dining--super charming guy! I'd like to thank the chef (maybe Martin is his name) he always was helpful and most of all Rhianna for the nice hospitality! !

I had an incredible time at the retreat, the staff helped me set up tours and make the most of my time in Yangshuo. Everyone went above and beyond to create a relaxing atmosphere. I also had work to do and was pleased with their excellent wifi, had no trouble at all with video conferencing. I strongly recommend a stay here and will absolutely go back.
