I basically liked everything. The girls at the reception are super kind and spoke very good English. The bed was hard, which I love and it’s so great after having travelled around the globe. The room is excellent for the price and everyone was very polite and attentive. I’m going back in two days to spend three nights there. And the shower was great.

We only stayed in the initial room for one night as we had a few issues with the older suites so requested an upgrade to the Executive room (highly recommended) which only then enhanced our guest experience overall. This was no issue for the Duty Manager given some of the issues we'd highlighted with the room initially allocated due to a few maintenance issues. We loved the Executive Room & would return to stay in that again. Space, bathroom, products, super comfy bed, walk-in, tub & included mini-bar were exceptional. Excellent housekeeping who were always responsive to our needs. Buffet breakfast each morning (both offerings & facility) were fantastic - best throughout our recent China travels & this place was only a 4 star. Super accessible to the metro which made for travelling throughout Beijing super easy - highly recommend this place & their Executive room offerings which are the refurbished rooms in the building - avoid the older floors if you can!

The property is very well located, close to the main attractions of the city. There is a larger mall and there are also smaller shops nearby to do your shopping if you wish to. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed a free upgrade to a suite and it was huge and pleasant to stay in the room. Facilities were clean, comfy, amenities plenty. We tried the restaurant on top of the property and had a pleasant hot pot dinner, too. Breakfasts are nice, with a wide variety of local and Western yummies. Do try the dumplings and the noodle soup station! Exceptional value for money.

Everything. The design of the room. Not a very big room but very nicely designed. Staff was accommodating us as much as possible. The location was close to a nice spot to visit. Very good local food restaurants nearby...really convenient. And the macarons gift when you leave was the cherry on the cake!

Amazing hotel, perfect for a visit of all of Beijing's landmarks. The location is exceptional (close to a pedestrian street), the rooms are comfortable, the staff is helpful and speaks English, the gym facilities are top notch and the buffet breakfast and lunch are great.

Beijing being the political and administrative centre of China is extremely ordered, clean, courteous and safe, a great place for a first visit to China, introducing you to the absolute gems of history such as the great wall and Forbidden city, as well as modern China with Tiananmen Square. All very accessible. Also, importantly a great place to try Peking Duck. You'll be amazed by it all. Make sure you stay in the Hutongs for old world China tea experience

Great communication and very helpful, it took me a long time to get through immigration at the airport, I did a lot of research but it was still not easy, the signage is poor and there are two different types of entry visas', signage at the airport does not make it clear which is which, Sophie waited a long time for me at the airport as I have booked the transfer from the airport to the hotel, she was very patient and super friendly, talked to me about living in China etc, very helpful, also made sure I had money for the shops by overcharging for the room to give me Yuan in exchange. Organised my trip back to the airport in the morning, no issues at all. No TV's in the room but not sure what use they would be anyway for an English speaker with no Chinese language skills :) just make sure you can entertain yourself. Shops immediately out the front of the hotel if you want to get a couple of beers or buy some food, literally across the very minor road. Fantastic as a layover between flights.

We came here specifically to see The Great Wall that ends in the ocean. First time my husband visited it ended in the ocean. There was no beach. The original wall is now encased as it is very deteriorated. An interesting site for sure.

Beijing as a city, seems a little different from what what I had percieved. I liked it, very pleasant, lots of culture. Commuting was easy, food was decent (even for a vegetarian like me). I would like to go back to beijing and explore more of the city, 4 days did not do justice.

I had a really lovely time here.

I had a really lovely time here. It was easy to get around and a nice place to return to after a day out. The Spa was great. The only thing I would suggest is a shop with products i.e. toiletries, local crafts & gifts, clothes etc,.

I think especially for the countries that have 30 days entry...

I think especially for the countries that have 30 days entry without visa, it's a no brainer to visit Beijing or China in general. I might be biased because this is my favorite place in the world. However it's undoubtedly a unforgettable experience, between history and modernity. Anyone who is curious and not too brainwashed by our western media should come see by themselves how far ahead this country is on so many aspects. Nowhere is perfect but we have a lot to learn and I can't wait to come back again and discover other cities of this amazing country.
