The hotel is located in an ancient part of town. The staff all knew english and were very helpful and accomodating, including taking dietary restrictions into account. Special thanks to Sophie, who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable.

The hotel itself is located near the center of Chengdu next to the river and a park. The interior is really unique with the trees and flowers feeling very cozy. The view onto the city is great with a nice view on the tower. The common room also feels very comfortable and you might see some cats roaming around. I had a bagel for breakfast which was pretty tasty. The owner Miya and her staff go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as great as possible.

The hotel was unexpectedly satisfying. It's a haven of tranquility hidden in the hustle and bustle. The transportation around is convenient. It's within walking distance of Kuanzhai Alley and Kuixinglou Street, and there are many delicious foods. The hotel's environment, afternoon tea, and room facilities are all very satisfying. There's also a reading lounge with many great books, which the kids like too.

Lovely hotel on a superb street and next to a lovely park. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms lovely, clean and spacious. Excellent location near the metro for exploring the City, short ride to the Panda Park and for getting to the main train staions for the high speed trains. 10 minute walk to Khan and Zhai Alley and close to Junli Ancient street - both fun areas to explore. Breakfast was delicous - the best we had during our stay and the coffee fresh. I thorougly recommend this hotel and would return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain was truly exceptional. The resort is beautiful, surrounded by stunning nature, with impeccable maintenance, excellent food, wonderful gardens, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and reconnect. What made our stay even more special was the outstanding service. We would especially like to recognize Loki, our Guest Experience Maker, who made us feel welcome from our very first WeChat conversation. He anticipated our needs, responded quickly to every request, and always helped with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. His professionalism is exceptional, but what stands out most is his humanity. He combines outstanding service with a personal touch that made us feel completely at home. We highly recommend this resort and hope to return again soon. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience.

The main attraction - Giant Panda research centre was only a overhyped zoo. Did not get time to visit the old city. However modern amenities and robots are now standard all over China. However Sichuan food is the best of all Chinese food -e specially for Indian Palates. the night visit to the twin towers is a must do. The Global mart was somewhat overhyped

The natural reserve itself is OK but it is completely overcrowded. 40,000 people visited the parc the same day as us and shuttles keep everyone concentrated in only 3-4 spots in the whole parc. The crowd is erverywhere you go, people are agressive even to board bus shuttles ... Don't go there.

I’ve had a long stopover and needed a place to rest and sleep. Airport pickup was excellent, its short drive, checking was swift and I was in crispy clean sheets after a 10 hours of flight from Sydney. I had a great rest and shower, they drove me to airport for my next flight to Istanbul. I’ve arrived fresh and rested. Thanks to hotel staff🧿 it was excellent. I will be staying there again on my way back home to Australia again. I highly recommend.

You better be fit! We walked 127 flights of steps and 17,000 steps and yet we only touched the bare surface of this magnificent mountain range with its stunning flora & fauna, wild & aggressive monkeys and breathtaking temples.

Chengdu is a huge city with a lots of things to see and to do. 4 days for us is not enough to see everything that I wanted to see, but just enough to see major turistic things including Panda research base and Great Budha statue in Leshan. You just have to be well organized.

One needs to give oneself a couple of days to adjust to the new place. At first, the city feels like a megapolis. But once we adjusted to it and got our bearings there is so much to discover and enjoy. I think we could easily spend two weeks, if not a whole month. One thing I will not recommend: going to see pandas... :( It is cheap - only about $8 - but it is overflowing with people, and I mean overflowing. Out of claimed 240 pandas, literally only 3 were - sort of - out, but they were behind small glass windows and there were throngs of people wanting to take photo. We left after about an hour of this "suffering". One thing I will highly recommend: the Chengdu Opera experience :) Loved it! And one must absolutely stop by Shukai Agricultural (in front of Xiaonan metro stop): the couple owners - great story - treated us with such hospitality and kindness, the food was excellent too. :)
