This hotel has rooms all around a central court yard. The restaurant is in the court yard and there are beautiful plants which attract birds and give an overall look of freshness. The restaurant has powerful fans which help with the heat. Our room had an aircon, which is rare for Villavieja and Tatacoa. The beds were comfortable and although there is only cold water, it was no problem because of the heat in this area. The breakfast consisted of fruit juice, toast and eggs made to order, and coffee. It was nice and more than enough. We had lunch once and dinner twice at the hotel's restaurant and the food was delicious. We also had very good cocktails. The restaurant is open all day till 10 pm. They also have an ice cream fridge where you can buy different delicious ice creams any time of day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and some of them do speak English. We asked them to arrange our transport from Neiva airport to the hotel and to arrange a tuk tuk and guide to take us to the Grey dessert and Red dessert the day after our arrival (our only full day in Villavieja). Yeison Medina waited for us at the airport when we arrived late on a Sunday night and transported us to the hotel. He also happened to be our guide for the dessert trips. He is a professional guide at the observatory as well and he was very knowledgeable about the geology, the history and the fauna and flora of the dessert. He spoke English well enough, he was very funny and full of jokes and we had a wonderful day with him. He was also a magician with a cell phone and took very creative photos of us in the dessert. We will remember him every time we look at our holiday photos. Hotel Villavieja is definitely the obvious choice if you plan to visit the Tatacoa dessert. Don't bother to find a tuk tuk on the square or anywhere else for dessert tours, just ask the hotel to arrange it for you and hope that Yeison Medina is your guide.

Located within San Pedro Plaza shopping centre, GHL Hotel Neiva offers free WiFi in Neiva. A restaurant and a business centre are on site. Comfy beds. Great desk including great chair. At breakfast they have fruit in different selections. You don´t have to serve yourself. Just unwrap the plate. Very good stay overall

Terletak di Villavieja, Casa Hotel Estelar mempunyai lounge berkongsi dan bar. Terdapat tempat parking peribadi percuma dan tempat penginapan ini menawarkan khidmat shuttle lapangan terbang berbayar. Pool was amazingly refreshing, staff were very helpful and a great place to relax after an intense time at the tatacoa dessert. The hotel is amazing and great value for money. :D

Hotel Kasama mempunyai basikal percuma, taman, lounge berkongsi dan restoran di San Agustín. A really beautiful hotel built on the edge of the Magdalena river canyon that let us have breathtaking morning views. We had two large rooms with comfortable beds and clean private bathrooms. Very friendly and hospitable owners, family that lives at the place as well, who picked us up in the town after arrival in the night and gave us a ride back to explore the town and the archeological sites on the next day. Thank you so much for the lovely stay and for lending me your bike for free for the whole day. Looking forward to coming back one day and staying longer.

The area felt safe and the rooftop terrace was decorated really nicely. Very close to the airport in a residential area. We stayed there after a few days in the desert and definitely recommend it.

They have gone out of their way to keep this hotel in it’s original splendour! This is one of the best places I stayed while in Colombia for six weeks. The location is perfect. It is on the central square but all rooms are set back from the street if you have sensitive hearing.

Monasterio San Agustín, Colombia di San Agustín mempunyai penginapan 4-bintang dengan taman, teres dan bar. This is a special place. A true five-star facility. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. The staff was professional,gracious, and attentive. The food was excellent.

Hotel Villa Paraiso is located in Villavieja. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The breakfast was hot and delicious. Ready upon request. The grounds were manicured well. The pool looked great, but didn't have a chance to get in.
