Very calm you don’t see almost no one and sometimes that’s what you need to disconnect, you don’t see much staff and it’s great because you feel free to do whatever you like without be controlled what happens in some hotels the fridge everybody puts there food and respect each others stuff it really felt great and save o and we put it was my birthday they decor the room with balloons I was surprised the girl at the check in was the best goes the extra mile for the client and in general the staff was friendly

Kontiki was amazing! From the moment that we arrived, until the very end, the staff was very nice! We got greeted with coconuts, the hotel provided us fresh beach towels everyday, they filled the coffee and tea station everyday, room was spotless, very comfortable and extremely cozy! Special shot out to Jonathan, Naomi and all of the reception staff for helping us out through our stay, for his advice and suggestions, they all came in handy. Hotel is also connected to Cabana Beach, which is amazing! For breakfast you can order a tower with plenty of yunmy, fresh foods, you can use the complimentary chairs found in front of Cabana beach as a member of the hotel (recommended to be there before 11 to secure a spot), you have free wi-fi & while enjoying the beach you can sip on delicious cocktails & eat tasty foods provided by Cabana Beach. Finally, the cabanas are set up as a small paradise, all of them surrounded by salted-water pools, which was also nice after spending a long day in the beach! I highly recommend to check this property out, one thing for sure, is that my boyfriend and I are aiming to come back on our next trip to Curaçao!

The house was comfortable and clean with a beautiful view over the ocean right in front of our house. Snorkeling right in front of the property and nice meeting point around the pool and at sunset with the other visitors. Our host René and Alina were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of nice beaches nearby. Highly recommended.

The property is well maintained and in a good location away from the city for a nice relaxing vacation. They even have three small restaurants on the resort about a 2 min drive away. Place was gorgeous and had everything you needed to be comfortable. Place looks just like the pictures and I was extremely impressed.

Willemstad was interesting but I wouldn't go again over the holidays. It was just too crowded. Trying to find a place to park when we went to La Reina, a cafe we loved, was very stressful. The most interesting thing is the slavetrade museum. Anyone who visits should visit that museum. It's truly astonishing. It's actually worth going to Willemstad just to see that museum.

One of the most important things is to rent a car. Without it, each ride can cost around $25 USD, and distances are quite long. D&D Car Rental was excellent. I loved all the restaurants — the food in this country is really good. There's one called VISBOER, and I absolutely loved the red snapper. I highly recommend the beaches Kenepa and Porto Mari, as well as Mambo Beach and Papagayo. They're not only beautiful beaches but also great resorts — super fun and relaxing spots to visit!

It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are...

It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are here in the North West section of the island- Willibrordus. We visited several, and while they tend to look alike, some offer more rustic settings while others offer a more upscale experience. Our favorites were Cas Aboa and Playa Porto Mari because of their better facilities.

Westpunt is where you find the best beaches of Curacao (in my opinion, after spending 12 days going to different beaches). It is a very nice quiet area, far from the capital and far from the party spots (Mambo / Jan Thiel). I would stay around there at least 4 nights to visit the national park and the beaches in the area. And you need a car for sure.

The view was absolutely gorgeous.

The view was absolutely gorgeous. There is a lot of beautiful beaches in short driving distance /15-20 min/ There is nothing much to do in the evening, only 2 or 3 restaurants nearby, but that wasn´t an issue for us. We like to start our day early in the morning. However, restaurants have very good fresh fish. I would definitely come back. But also a car is necessary.

Great resort, lovely beach. 3 bed unit 20 was on first floor, had great view and close to beach. Balcony was fantastic. Air con in bedrooms Worked well. Good size and clean and nicely decorated albeit basic. Bad lighting in kitchen, beds and pillows not comfortable. It’s all about the location here, close to beach and blue bay is lovely.

Defenitly need to rent a car in order to reach all the beautiful spots on tha island.Prices are reasonable.A good place to buy food to go is La Granja, rotisserie.They have a nice selection of chiken and seafood.Also , for lunch or happy hour, go to PasaWa.My favorite beach was Mambo.

Willemstad was a nice city experience with lots of restaurants and shops to visit. I like that the harbour with the floating bridge is a main attraction you can see and experience for free. I walked the bridge and rode the free ferry several times.The city also has museums to visit and lots of art and murals to admire. Its pretty easy to walk around but wear comfortable shoes and a hat because it gets REALLY hot. Traveling solo I mainly explored in the daytime: Otra Banda walking tour with Dundu Tours, visited the Jewish Museum, and the Kura Hulanda museum, shopped in the Riffort, had lunch and dinner harbour side, and at Burger Haus and went down to the old market "Plasa Bleu" and had lunch there as well.

We liked the house. Because Jan Tiel is a nice and safe area. It's also close to the beach and a nice supermarket. We also appreciated our communication with the owner. Very quick response day and late in the evenings.
