The Sendal was everything I wished for and more to make my stay in the city super easy, chilled out and relaxed.
The location!! ♥️ Inside the old city, but so nestled and quiet that you could just enter into a whole different space when coming back from the day of shopping and activities. Love how the design is made to calm you down and relax immediately. The courtyard is such a cool addition, was able to finish some work there also while sipping my cold iced coffee 👌🏼
The aesthetic!! 😍 I’m so inspired by the space, cannot even think how this century old building has been turned into a hotel with such modern beautiful taste, and it’s so well preserved! You can literally imagine all the history inside the walls, if only they could talk!
Everything was really clean and well managed, I loved the mattress and how soft the towels were.
I had some questions before my arrival and the managers were super helpful in assisting me. It was easy to get in and out, there was a huge parking lot just outside the hotel 1 min walk away that was not costly at all. Luxury considering it’s impossible to get into the old town with your car 😅
Definitely staying here again the next time I come to Cyprus again. My new favorite spot!

We stayed as a couple at the Garden Suites offered by the hotel. The suite was quite large, with an available terrace in front of the building. The facilities were very clean and fully functional, and the atmosphere had an esthetic touch enriched by a small greenhouse full of tropical plants directly adjacent to the facilities of the suite, that was visible through a glass sliding door which could be opened at will. The room service was hasty, and the prices were more than reasonable. Privacy of the suite was top-notch as it had no real connection to any other types of accommodation at the hotel. The hotel offered a wide range of activities, all of which were easily accessible on foot.

The staffing were so friendly, kind and fast. Het hired the best crew. Replying to my emails with in few hours. Hotel located near to center. Bedroom was so clean, Air conditioner was working perfect. The pool was clean and amazing, always available sun-chairs and towels. The buffet for breakfast and dinner were best ever I seen in any hotels in Turkey. Been so many hotels in Turkey, but this one was outstanding Hotel ever so far I stayed. Melike, Ozlem,
Ozon,Murat they made me like I was top priority guest for hotel. I stayed always in VIP rooms in Vegas, this hotel casino was very small but efficient for casino standards.

We upgraded our room as I only booked the basic room and on arrival felt we wanted more space/balcony. Our upgraded room was fantastic, very spacious and lovely balcony with pool/garden view. Good location for getting about (we hired a car so went all over!) Our airport transfer was 1.30am and one of the cleaners came and sat and chatted to us while we waited for the taxi , she was so lovely! WiFi points all over the hotel so connection was always good. Breakfast service always to a high standard. Great value for money hotel.

The hotel and staff were perfect. I asked for a non-smoking king bed, and they upgraded me to a suite at the same price. The food and breakfast were excellent, and I could easily walk to the market to buy some clothes. It was a great stay — very clean and enjoyable.

Not what we expected.
Not what we expected. The old town and port are fairly small and the town has been subsumed into a much greater metropolitan area. The port is nice but many of the restaurants are very commercial with average food. The fort is worth a visit and there is a nice restaurant called Nina with great food and service. The bar scene is very lively if you want a party. Nice to visit once for a few days but not more in my view.

Friendly people, lots of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of walking around which was great.
Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed).
There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus.
Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

The Turkish part of Nicosia is full of beautiful sandstone houses, mosques, and a magnificent caravanserai which contains a delightful restaurant. Lively Ledra Street leads to the border crossing where you can show your passport to enter the Greek part of Nicosia. In this divided city there are many lanes that end abruptly at the border wall.

Iskele is a wonderful place to visit: quiet, welcoming, and charming. My favorite thing was the long sandy beach, perfect for families with small children. We enjoyed fresh seafood at the local restaurants and also popped into several cozy cafes along the coast. Getting around Iskele was easy: everything is close by, and transportation is easy to arrange. The gentle sea and calm atmosphere make it ideal for families. What I especially loved was the relaxed atmosphere and friendly people, and honestly, there was nothing not to like. If you're looking for a combination of relaxation, delicious food, and authentic Cypriot life, Iskele is the place for you!

Make sure you have 100 Euros in cash as refundable damage deposit. You are on a complex however new shops and restaurants are opening all the time so no need to stay in one place. Shuttle busses are in operation from both Ercan and Larnaca airports. Only certain Southern Cyprus car hire companies can go through the border due to insurance cover, best to check first..

It was very remote from busy places, though there were about 4-5 other big resorts in the vicinity, such as Artemis, Limak, Concorde resorts etc.
We stayed for 12 days in this Thalassa resort where the apartment was and overall we had very good stay. Vokolida was quite far from other popular places, such as Iskele, Famagust, Kyrenia, but it was very convenient for the best beaches and Dipkarpaz area in the remote corner of North Cyprus

Location is good to explore karpas. However food and drink very expensive compared to other parts of Cyprus.it has a captive audience of the visitors. €30 for 2 sandwiches 1 coffee 1 chip and 2 small water and no pricing on menu! Should have known.

It's a very safe and friendly city.
It's a very safe and friendly city. It is easy to get around and residents are even kind enough to offer you a ride in case you get lost and no taxis in sight.
Despite the language barrier, most people at least try to speak English.
The food variety is actually limited with most cafés offering fast food which is not a fave. Some organic food would be welcome, including green vegetables which are rare.

Nicosia is definitely a perfect location to visit; it's a beautiful city to explore, see, and broaden your horizons. If you have the opportunity, definitely visit both the North and South of the island.
It boasts breakfast restaurants, historical sites, mosques, churches, and a rich tapestry of Genoese, Ottoman, Greek, and British cultures.
It also has a university ranked among the top 500 in the world, and if you're interested in cars, there's a classic car museum.
