Check-in after hours was hassle-free. The team sent me instructions on how to get into the hotel and how to collect my key because I checked in late. The room was beautiful, with a really comfortable bed and an excellent shower. You are not allowed to eat in the rooms, but there is a nice sitting area on the ground floor and a fully equipped kitchen if you want to buy food for your stay and cook in the hotel. The hotel has a really comfortable feel.

Beautiful imperial city with lots of castles, parks and lakes. The Dutch quarter is very typical and has several restaurants. Brandenburger Strasse is a good pedestrian shopping street. Sans Souci castle and park are an absolute must! We enjoyed a 90 minutes boat trip (Schlösserfahrt) Assagi is a good Italian restaurant on Luisenplatz Seems to be an ideal city for bikers

Brandenburg is beautiful.
Brandenburg is beautiful. I have known it between 1940 and 1945. It had been heavily destructed. I have seen it again in 1976 under the DDR regime when I could still clearly see the wounds of WW2. Now it is completely restored to its medieval charm. The many gothic churches are mostly transformed into museums or for different other purposes. But they are still beautiful buildings. Take a walk trough the cobble stone streets, listen to the church bells and à glockenspiel, take a break for a huge ice cream, a wholesome meal and a Berliner Weiss "green" or "red", hire a boat and see Brandenburg and it’s surroundings from the Havel - it’s really a great little city!

We had no breakfast. There were no restaurants or shops nearby but we could order pizzas online and this service was excellent. The staff at the hotel was very good and helpful, especially the young lady at the reception. The taxi from Brandenburg Airport to the hotel seems to be the best option if you have baggage. I was told there was public bus transportation, too, but we could not find the initial stop. There is also a shuttle but it costs 7 euro per person in one direction which is too expensive.

We had a really early flight, so we wanted to stay as close as possible to the Brandenburg airport and this was the most accessible option for us. We had to take a taxi nevertheless for 22 € but even with that it was cheaper than other hotels closer to the airport. In general the room was pretty ok given the price, the only thing we miss is having a mini bar or fridge in the room. I can recommend it for a one night stay nearby Brandenburg
