I left a personal item after checking out and they kindly wrapped it up and kept it safe until I picked it up. Hotel location was great, nice walking trail near by.

This 4-star hotel is beautifully located on Lake Chiemsee, 2.5 km from Prien am Chiemsee Train Station. It offers a modern spa area with an outdoor whirlpool and a rich breakfast buffet. Reception was a good experience. Although we were early for check-in our room was ready. Breakfast was more then was imagined. Refilling was very fast. Eggs to order no problem. Grounds are very clean and manicured. No shortage of staff like many other hotels are experiencing .

We could not have asked for any more. Beautiful, quiet location directly on the Cheimsee with lovely gardens. Incredibly warm and friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Extremely comfortable room with lovely view. Lovely little boat house to allow you to go rowing on the lake, plus a fabulous little sun deck out on a jetty by the water. The beautiful 150 year old, traditional Bavarian building just added to the charm. Only 35 mins drive into the mountains for walks and direct on the round the lake bike track. Can't wait to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly situated to go visit Herrenchiemsee by boat and to cycle around the lake (excellent rental bicycles are available at the mini golf nearby). Although it doesn't have private access to the lake, there is a relaxed and friendly park just opposite where you can swim from. My room had a lovely view over the afore mentioned park. The balcony was spacious with comfy furniture. The room itself was nice and subdued and I really appreciated having a mini fridge to keep water & wine cool. Breakfast was gorgeous.

We had a lovely and spacious room with a large bed and a delightfully appointed small sitting area with a sofa, comfortable chair, and coffee table. We also had a large balcony offering views of a gorgeous rose garden and, through a few neighboring buildings, even a glimpse of the Chiemsee itself. The hotel pool was inviting and fun for our child. The restaurant was exceptional, truly a 4-star meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel appeared to be welcoming to pets (the owners have a dog).

The staff was smiling, room was comfortable (just pillows were not) and nice decorated (I like Bavaria style). The location was close to the lake, but by car. It would be hard to go by walk. Parking was easy to the closest swimming place and 1 euro per hour. There is a nice playground and a green park close to the hotel and Chiemsee swimming location.

The location was a 20 min walk from Bernau Chiemsee Station but with the greenery filled road made it very pleasant. Also, the breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. Unfortunately we couldn't use the swimming pool and sauna as they were closed due to Covid but we played mini golf and it was fun.
