A beautiful room with a nice deep bathtub! We were there for the Christmas market, and didn't realize it was closed that day. Michelstadt is a beautiful city and we were in a great location for thr Christmas market if it had been open. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was absolutely incredible !!! Lots of stairs to be aware of.

Great and charming hotel in a small town, with very nice and gentle staff and a wonderful restaurant. We arrived by bus from Miltenberg and the bus stop is in front of the hotel, on the main avenue. The hotel is close to the road that takes us to Engelberg - just behind it. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was completely renovated and elegant, while the bedroom was in a cosy old style. The owner was a gentleman and helped us a lot, even taking us to the train station when we left. The restaurant was of a high standard, unexpected for a small town, we had a delicious and excellent dinner. The breakfast room was typical and charming and the breakfast was delicious with German bread and cakes. I will probably return to Grossheubach in the future and stay in the same place.

We liked everything about Gottwalds Inn. The room was spotless! The bed was so comfortable that I never wanted to get up and the bathroom was again spotless and modern..The entry and check in process was easy and seamless. The breakfast was very very good. There was lots of choice at breakfast. It was just all really nice and tasty. The hosts could not have been more pleasant or helpful.

This is a very nice property that has been refurbished to a very high standard, it looks like no expense has been spared. The owner and his family were exceptionally friendly. The restaurant has to be a dining experience not to be missed, an absolute gem of a place. We could not take breakfast at the hotel but the recommendation of the local bakery proved to be very good. Would highly recommend.

I was there with my friends to celebrate my birthday. The staff were so kind, the made us feel welcome from day one. The place was clean, comfortable, had board games, tv, etc. They helped us with information about hiking routes. I had a great time. Recommended
