Breakfast was excellent and well thought out. It was served in the beautiful breakfast room and at the right time. The location was perfect. Being well located on the island it was easy to access the rest of the island and to walk to the ferry terminal. This meant you didn't really need your car unless you wanted to go touring somewhere. Sabrina is a fantastic host and made us feel most welcome even though we booked at the last minute.

The handmade details in decoration like some of the tiles in the bathroom and glasses in some of the windows in the breakfast room were strengtening the "Fachwerkhaus" ambience. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very kind.

Came as part of the 1300-year Jubiläum events, needed more...

Came as part of the 1300-year Jubiläum events, needed more time to walk around to see the island and experience its location, weather, and people. A good place for walkers, supplemented by regular bus and train service, excellent restaurants emphasizing locally-sourced food, and a charming, updated museum at the heart of Mittelzell in Reichenau.

Very nice, spacious and well equipped apartment with a wonderful view of the lake. The apartment has its own terrace and private access to the water. Near the apartment there are several restaurants within about 2 km, the LIDL supermarket is about 6 km away. The surrounding area of Reichenau offers many opportunities for excursions (boat transport, car, bike). There was very good communication with the owners. Everything was kept as agreed. The owners were interested in our satisfaction even during our stay. Thank you again for a pleasant holiday.
