Old and charming, a real gem. Great service, friendly staff and good breakfast!

How often do you get kind and genuinely attentive service ? How often do you get to enjoy exceptionally tasty scrambled eggs sitting beneath a 150-year-old wisteria, whilst watching vessels sliding by on the mighty Rhine? A sense of tradition in the hands of young and dedicated hosts! Great that the hosts could communicate in fluent English.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They kept our luggage safe whilst we walked around and visited the Asbach distillery. Breakfast was awesome 👌

Check-in was hassle-free despite our arriving after reception hours. The beds were perfectly firm for a good night sleep, and the breakfast was superb! So many options one can never try everything! The hotel is in an excellent location, within short walking distance to Drosselgasse, restaurants, cafés and a supermarket. And to top It all off, the reception lady kindly went above and beyond to help us with our issues, for which we are very grateful.

It’s right by the Rhine river, location can’t get better. Ferries, restaurants, and sightseeing attractions are nearby. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Easy check in and check out.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Weingut Magdalenenhof and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The rooms were charmingly decorated and exuded a cozy atmosphere. The working facilities were top-notch, allowing me to stay productive during my visit. Upon entering, the wine and liquor shop immediately caught my attention with its diverse selection and fun atmosphere. The restaurant was wonderfully cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations at every meal. And of course, the highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view of the vineyard, which provided a serene backdrop to my time at the Weingut. Overall, I highly recommend Weingut Magdalenenhof for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and culinary delights amidst stunning natural surroundings.

Peaceful and green in the middle of Kloster grounds. Great place for a relaxing break. Our son had a great time in the gardens, loved the playground and the (temporary) Playmobil exhibition
