The location is very calm and the scenery magnificent. At our arrival, we received an upgrade for no extra cost. The hotel is brand new, as was the room. It was spacious, very modern, cosy and spotlessly clean, as the rest of the hotel. The personnel was very accommodating, friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was just excellent. Breakfast next morning, served at the time of your choice and at your table, so no annoying buffet, frankly couldn't be topped. Value for money - top. I would not hesitate one second recommending this locations to anyone.

The room was very spacious, clean, and with an outstanding view. Buffet evening meal was excellent both nights. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Unfortunately, we did not use the pool this time, but we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel in a beautiful area.

Everything: perfect location for hiking trips. Everyone was most welcoming, the rooms have a microwave and basic utensils. Breakfast was amazing! The pool and spa area are wonderful for relaxation after a long day out and about!

We love the hotel and the spa area.

We love the hotel and the spa area. Breakfast is excellent and bar menu good. We do not give the full excellent rating because we would have expected from a four star hotel a complimentary water kettle with tea and coffee as well was a water bottle. This is even provided by the lower rated chain holiday inn express. For the amount of 160 Euro per night versus 120 Euro this should be changed and added to all rooms for extra service and benefit to the guests.

We visited Therme KissSalis Therme in Bad Kissingen.

We visited Therme KissSalis Therme in Bad Kissingen. It was a perfect experience. We were there for several hours and we used almost all the facilities that are available. There is a restaurant there, where tasty food is served. I would warmly recommend to visit this Spa. We also walked shortly thought the town center. It looks well preserved. The houses seem cosy .

My Dad served in Fulda during the early 1970s. It was a joy to go back and learn what an amazing and vibrant city that Fulda is. I enjoyed exploring it's cultural heritage during the wine festival and it was lovely to see so many of the site's I grew up hearing about.

We were stationed in Bad Kissingen in the mid 80's, so we were familiar with the town. Bad Kissingen is smaller town in the Rhon region of northern Bavaria. It has some interesting sights to see that are centered around the Kur facilities. Old palaces and the halls where the mineral water is the key attraction. It's real attraction is it's location by the Saale river and the manicured grounds and trails that radiate from the center of town and out to the surrounding mountains. The area around BK is very beautiful and has a lot of traditional little German towns in rolling countryside. Recommendation if you visit is to do it by car to allow you to get out into the country side to explore. Attractions near by are the Kreuzberg, which has a monastery and is famous for it's beer and the nature trails that wind up through the mountain that gives it it's name. There is also the Wasserkuppa which is another mountain that is nearby. This entire area is a part of the UNESCO Reserve Biosphere Rhon.

A neat, tidy and altogether welcoming city.

A neat, tidy and altogether welcoming city. Most retail outlets lying within walking distance of the hotel itself. Worth seeing. Fulda is the departure point for buses to the WASSERKUPPE, which, if you don't know, is a centre for GLIDING & PARAGLIDING in Germany. The WASSERKUPPE is really worth seeing and visiting. You will NOT REGRET IT!

Very, very nice.

Very, very nice. The river, the fountain, the availability to walk around the river, many benches to relax and enjoy the view. To stay longer wasn't possible but I would have liked to and visit the many stores. Construction was, as it's everywhere, a disappointment. NOTE: we live and traveled to Bad Kissingen from the USA:-)
