The room was amazing and the staff as well (especially Stefi). The view of the room facing the road is amazing in winter conditions but comes at the cost of hearing some car/truck noises during the night (depending on your sleep type). The food both at the breakfast and in the evening at the restaurant are amazing.

Best breakfast I've ever had! Seriously - EVER! There was everything you could possibly want, most of it homemade, everything so beautifully presented and very generous with the added bonus that you were given a little bag so you could take what you couldn't manage with you for lunch! A very nice touch. I also loved the smell of the place. Lovely and fresh (a bit spa-like) yet very natural and not at all obtrusive. The decor was spot on - not too much, not too little and everything was spotless. Well done Hotel Buiterling! I learned that you had a difficult start having just opened 6 weeks before Covid started so congratulations on keeping afloat and I wish you every success. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Brilon.

Offering Canadian-style log cabins and a restaurant, Hotelanlage Country Lodge is surrounded by the hills of the Hochsauerland. Guests enjoy private terraces with views of Arnsberg, 2 km away. My boyfriend and I came to the Country Lodge for a short weekend stay. We wanted to do a walking tour in the area. I loved the location,its near to Arnsberg, around 2-3 mins by car you have a supermarket, the town is maybe 5 mins by car. very quiet place,nature all around with a good view of the town. The lodge itself was nice, eclectisch deco,wood walls, a big, a nice shower, and a patio outside. Breakfast was included in the price, it was not anything special, but its nice to have food available in the morning. There is also parking place available for all guests, free of charge. The owners were very nice and friendly! I would say value for money and plan to come back for another short weekend stay.
