It’s very easy to get to from Berlin if you don’t have a car. Once you’re there, it’s a paradise for kids, they have so many activities there including a well heated indoor pool, children’s cinema, both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and daily activities for kids eg crafting. The lake is also beautiful - it was too cold to swim in it but hope to come again in the summer.

Nice welcome on arrival. Good bike storage. Rooms modern and comfortable. Outstanding breakfast with provision for dietary needs. Loved it. The town itself came as a nice surprise with a pretty little central area.

Germany's hotels don't seem to have kettles. I asked for hot water and the staff gave me a big thermos. Very friendly and kind staff and breakfast is very good. Much better than the UK ones.

Spotlessly clean , well appointed room with rather nice design touches - which was apparent throughout the Hotel. Friendly owner and staff and good food. Thoroughly recommended .
