The hotel’s location in the heart of Aalborg made it an excellent choice for my stay, whether for business or leisure. Being just a five-minute walk from the central train and bus stations was extremely convenient. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. I especially enjoyed starting the day with the generous breakfast buffet, and the 24/7 self-service facilities added extra flexibility. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, which really made the experience stand out. It was in a charming location. The building had a romantic history having been built originally in late 1800’s and we enjoyed hearing the history from the lovely owner. Rooms were so pretty and very clean with tea and coffee making facilities. So very peaceful …a real get away. Beautiful walk down hillside track (short distance) to beach. Great breakfast, highly recommend.

Aalborg is a beautiful city, especially the downtown area.

Aalborg is a beautiful city, especially the downtown area. You can have a leisurely stroll downtown and not worry about your safety. Make sure you go to Penny Lane Bakery while you're there and taste their delicious pastries. The old buildings are gorgeous and definitely deserve your scrutiny. There is a wonderful antique toy store called The Tin Soldier that is absolutely a delight. I will be returning to Aalborg in the future.

The local village and surrounding countryside has a lot of character from being by the seaside .There are many beautiful nature area's worth seeing. There is a very tricky police speed trap camera near entrance to village ,would recommend visitors to be very careful.

Two adults and an 11 y old stayed one night, on the road to Italy. We came after reception was closed, and nightdoor was easy to open with a code given to us. It was gard finding our room. First floor had od numbers, second floor didnt have info, so we had to check the right corridors, to find even numbers. Many possibilities! Many corridors. We wasnt really prepared for selfservice with bed clothes, but it was easily done. The shower gave water all over the bath, because of wrong measure on the floor. water didnt really hit the drain. We had enough towels, to clean up! Little old&tired bathroom. We was selfcatered with eveningmeal&breakfast. In the corridor you will find a small kitchen, with freezer. We used it for our ice-elements. Comfortable beds, 2 single, and one bunk bed. Simple rooms. Left early next day, and the reception was open. Smileing service! Easy acsess from highway, outside Århus.

Having never been to this area of Denmark I was most impressed with what Aalborg has to offer. The central core has many interesting historic features, is very walkable, has good pedestrian access and a wide range of services. I found the Lonely Planet "Denmark & the Faroe Islands" to be most helpful in providing an overview of Aalborg. Being on the fjord is an extra plus along with the revitalized harbour front amenities.

Aalborg is interesting but not a must-see city that gives a perspective on North Jutland's geography. It has a student feel. Plan your visit for Tuesday-Saturday, as many museums are closed Sunday and Monday.
