Das Casita de la Playa bietet klimatisierte Unterkünfte direkt am Strand in Puerto Villamil. I liked everything. The staff was very friendly and offered advice on tours, flights, and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was wonderful out on a porch looking out on the ocean. Other quests were friendly. The location was amazing. I island hopped but in retrospect, I would have just come to Isabela and stayed here my whole time. You can see all the animals the other islands offer. The volcano hike and snorkeling was amazing. This island was the best of them, very relaxed and friendly.

Perfect place to stay! The room was spacious and very bright. The views were exepctional. Staff was extremely helpful. Basic breakfast: eggs of your choice, granola, fruits... Make sure to book room with a seaview.

Everything - this hotel is amazing! I stayed in numerous hotels while I was in Galapagos and Hotel Volcano was right at the top of my list. I arrived on the first boat hours before check in was available and had one of the moat pleasant reception experiences I've ever had on any of my travels. Elizabeth (I hope I've remembered correctly) was so friendly and accomodating. She directed me to a lovely local café for breakfast and told me what I should do and see before coming back for check-in. She gave great advice and I had a gorgeous morning! And when I got back to the hotel I had been upgraded to a sea view room which was stunning. I even tried to cancel my other hotels to stay here longer but unfortunately there was no availability. Isla Isabela was my favourite island and I'm sure that's partly to because of how lovely my experience was!

Lage 1A und super Unterkunft für den Preis (zu Covid-Zeiten natürlich sehr günstig) Jacuzzi oben wurde uns 2x gefüllt - einmal so heiß, wie es gehört, einmal gar nicht und das dritte mal dann leider nur warm. War aber eine schöne Entschädigung, da der Pool die meiste Zeit nicht nutzbar war. Aber man sollte in Corona-Zeiten auch nicht zu viel erwarten.

Das Hotel La Jungla in Puerto Villamil liegt 400 m vom Strand Puerto Villamil entfernt und bietet Unterkünfte mit einer Bar, kostenfreie Privatparkplätze, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und einen Garten. Wir waren im Oktober 1 Woche im Hotel La Jungla und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sowohl der Manager Abel, als auch Tania und Javier sind sehr nett und überdurchschnittlich hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer und auch die Küche sind gut ausgestattet. Die Lage mit Meerblick und die "vorgelagerte Bar" sind genial und laden zum relaxen ein. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Aussergewöhnlich fröhlich-freundliches Personal, ausgezeichneter Service, extrem sauber und leckeres abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, tolles preiswertes Restaurant mit Gourmet-Qualität für Mittag- und Abendessen. Hübsches Hotel mit guter Klimaanlage und schön-schattigem Garten.

In Puerto Villamil, 70 m vom Strand Puerto Villamil entfernt, bietet das Hotel Cally klimatisierte Unterkünfte und eine Bar. Sehr großes Zimmer mit großem Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Badezimmer sehr gut und groß. Sehr sauber.

Das Hotel San Vicente Galapagos liegt auf der Insel Isabela, der größten der Galapagos-Inseln, 500 m vom Strand entfernt. Freuen Sie sich auf klimatisierte Zimmer. We stayed Hotel San Vicente Galapagos for 3 nights. Hotel offers free port pick up and drop off, just incase you have alot of luggage. Hotel is located 10mins walk from the Port (arriving from Santa Cruz). We were in room 1. The room was spacious and had good working air-con, hot strong shower pressure. There is a large rectangle window above the bathroom wall where people could see in. Hotel needs to put a curtain up for privacy of their guest. We had to hang our own towel up over the window for the days we were there. All sounds can be heard from our room. Neighbours in the room above us talking, roosters, staff talking. It was very loud. Don't expect to sleep well, unless you wear ear plugs. Hotel staff charged us an extra $10 for our wet suit when they booked out Los Tunnels tours. Not sure why, as the wet suit was included. Other tour guest all got wet suits included. Breakfast was a hit and miss and very basic. Coffee wasn't hot, as coffee should be - more room temp. 1st day the juice was great, 2nd day it was watered down and plain. We left at 530am on day of departure. They do not offer a go pack for breakfast. Very ordinary, considering we had paid for breakfast (most other hotels provide a proper packed breakfast to go, which isn't hard - plain ham sandwich, juice popper and a piece of fruit - Apple or banana) Throughout Galapagos they say if you want to pay by credit card. There's an additional 22% Tax..this is in addition to the 12% VAT Location wise, the town is small. Doesn't matter where you stay, can walk everywhere. We would not stay here again or recommend this hotel. Please note, as at 29th June 2019 there is a $10 USD per person tax to Isabela Island.

This beautiful hotel is in a great location to access the beach, the ferry ( a 10 minute walk), and the town. Isabela is the most amazing island for so many reasons- the wildlife, the beaches, the frontier -like town (I love its dirt roads!), The snorkeling, and the kindness of the people. Staying at La Casa de Marita only made our visit to Isabela that much sweeter because it was so comfortable that you started and ended your busy days refreshed by both the views and the well appointed setting.
