The hotel is in the center close to markets and restaurants. It has a beautiful rooftop with and amazing view of the Nile. Kermina, Maria and Hamsa welcomed us in the hotel and were very nice and kind to us. Our breakfast was included in the price and it was really good, we tried some traditional Egyptian food so we recommend getting breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious enough for 3 people and very clean. We had a nice staying :)

My stay at the Obelisk Nile Towers was simply perfect! Right from check-in, I was welcomed warmly and professionally—the front desk team is extremely attentive, always helpful, and takes care of any request right away. My room was fantastic: modern, very bright, extremely clean, and featured an invaluable, breathtaking view directly over the Nile. The housekeeping service was thoroughly reliable, meticulous, and always discreet. The location on the Corniche is absolutely ideal for exploring Aswan. A big compliment also goes to the dining options: the breakfast team creates a wonderful atmosphere first thing in the morning, complemented by a diverse breakfast buffet. The hotel’s restaurant is equally impressive—the dishes are of outstanding quality, and the evening service is consistently attentive and professional. A huge thank you to the entire team—you are right on my "favorite list," and I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Friendly, warm and kind manager, Mr Shaban and staff, Abdul n chef (cant remember his name) were all helpful and sweet. Mr Shaban shared with us his books on Abu Simbel Temples and arranged a boat cruise n the Sounds n Light shows too. He was kind to let us have our breakfast after we ended our tour to Abu Simbel after 10am. Chef was so kind to wait and provided our warm breakfast. Abdul was also so sweet to share baked sweet potatoes the night after our dinner! The property location is also excellent as it has a nice garden, Lake Nasser View n 10-15 mins walk to Abu Simbel temples. Very convenient.

We came to this beautiful place and then we were greeted with the words that we are the guests of the day! That was so amazing. We got an upgrade to an amazing suite in the Old beautiful part of the hotel. Close to Agatha Christies suite. Also we got an delicious High tea at the terrace. I also got a rose from one of the amazing waiters. So charming. Our host was Marvel. It was her birthday, she was professional and sweet at the same time. Our waiter at the Terrace was Asran, he also was very kind for us. We enjoyed every second of our stay at the Old Cataract Hotel. شكراً

Wonderful quiet location high up above the town of Aswan with amazing view. Our rooms were in the ground floor with wide terraces and comfy outdoor seating. There was a small pool beside our room which was so refreshing with fluffy towels and sun loungers. The rooms were spacious modern and clean with crisp bed linen, small seating area. Bottles of water provided and plates of fruit and sweet treats refreshed daily. There was a small bar area which served beer, wine etc. Staff were really excellent. An early start one morning we were given breakfast boxes, all ready when we arrived at reception. It was great value for money for2 rooms B&B for 2 nights. Loved it and highly recommend this hotel.

Sama Stars Hotel seems to be a reasonably new hotel and the owner/manager, Weal, put a lot of energy into making my stay enjoyable from start to finish. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is excellent value for money. The breakfast was more than I could eat and the dinners (extra cost) were very good also. The rooms are clean and tidy but most important for me, the beds was very comfortable (not hard) and the pillows and bed linen are good quality. The shower provides plenty of hot water for my longer than average showers. People who know how noisy Cairo is, will be surprised by how quiet it is around Sama Stars. The 3 night stay gave me time to visit the Abu Simbel Temples, both during the day and in the evening for the Sound an Light Show. At my request, the hotel arranged a 4x4 trip to to see the 3 Amada site temples and the 3 Wadi Sabua temples. Sometimes you have a special moment on holiday that you cherish forever. For me, the Amada-Wadi Sabua trip is one of those. I am very grateful to Weal for organising it.

The view of our room was very nice, the location is close to the centre of Aswan, and most importantly, the staff was very helpful and cheerful from the very first moment till the end of our stay.
