Location,friendly staff Clean room.

I’ve been working in hotel industry for the past 12 years and I’ve travelled to 31 country alone, so I believe my observations might be helpful to other solo travellers like me. This hotel is a great place to stay if you plan on visiting Dendera and Abydos temples. There is not much of a choice in Qena regarding hotels, but I’m extremely glad I’ve chosen specifically this one. Easy to find, central location, welcoming reception and very friendly and professional gentlemen at the counter. Check in went smooth and fast, they gave me the room earlier which worked just perfect for my planning. Despite my concerns, online payment through Booking was received and confirmed without any hustle about money, unlike many other places in Egypt. If you book from Europe through Booking app with prepayment in advance, you can trust this place. You can also check with them via WhatsApp, after a while reception eventually replies. The room was clean, fresh and very comfortable with new cozy furniture - hotel was recently renovated as I got from other reviews. Now they offer accommodation up to good European standards, which nicely surprised me. Just for the context, it’s in Qena - a satellite town near Luxor where you would hardly spot a foreigner. In the room you have all possible amenities from tooth brush and slippers to shoe sponge and sewing kit. Important for me is always the bathroom. Here they have brand new equipment, everything is clean and still shiny. Several lighting modes for mirror and bathroom itself, same for the room, so even for a single night stay I could make it cozy with dimmed light in the room. Comfortable bed with fresh and ironed bed lined. You can definitely tell that it comes from specialised laundry company. At your disposal is also a big fridge and lovely balcony facing the street. As a solo traveller I always rate safety feeling. Here I felt very safe and relaxed, being treated openly and honestly. ...(continued below)...

Everything was perfect! The hotel is new and about ~2km to the train station and ~5km to Dendera temple. 10 minutes by foot to the local market. The staff is very nice and polite. We absolutely loved our stay and will always come back when visiting Qena

Everything is fine, the staff is excellent, there is breakfast.

Very comfortable stay, great hotel, amazing location, the quality of service is nearly 4 star! Best value for money in upper Egypt, that goes for whole city of Qena as well, untouched by mass tourism yet it has a lot to offer.

My first impression upon arriving at the hotel was to exclaim, involuntarily, "What a wonderful place!" And as I stood in the courtyard taking in the surroundings, that feeling never left me. This hotel is amazing. Furthermore, the hotel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind and generous. The breakfast was fantastic, and my only regret is not being able to stay longer. Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Habu — it was by far the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Egypt. The location is truly special: peaceful, beautifully designed with style and taste, and overlooking the stunning Temple of Medinet Habu. The pool is warm, the rooms are new and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. A special mention to Hassan, the housekeeping manager — he was extremely kind, helpful, and clearly cares about the comfort of every guest. The surrounding village is also a gem — quiet, authentic, and worth exploring on foot to experience a more local side of Luxor.

The staff were amazing..Carlos in particular...could not do enough to make sure you were having a good time. The owner Georges..is amazing guy...helping line up private tours/cars/horses/ATV trips....I had an amazing, packed 4 days. the villa complex is quiet and close to valley of the kings/desert etc.... Perfect place to stay in Luxor

Sayyeed, the owner and all the staff are born to be a host. Friendly, helpful, fair and intelligent. Since we came outside of the season we were his only guests. He sat down with us, drove us to the barber, to a pool (since his was under construction), organized Egyptian food. He could not have done more for us. The room and the entire hotel were super clean and stylishly furnished and the food was out of this world. We loved every second of it.
