The place is really authentic and very relaxing. Gabalawy the owner is extremely nice and very helpful and always wearing a wide friendly smile on his face. The food is wonderful and tasty. The rooms are clean, nice and the beds are comfortable. Have been talking about this experience all the time since we left. Will definitely go there again.

The owner made us feel very welcomed in the hotel and arranged us private activities through Luxor for the both days of our stay for a very reasonable price. Besides, the food was marvelous. It was home cooked by a very sympathetic staff member. It wasn’t an inconvenience staying in the west bank, we were able to easily move around in the private tour for the east bank, visiting temples, Luxor museum and local shops

This is recently renovated old hotel and has a lot of character. It has a great location opposite Medinet Habu Temple - in the village you can experience the real friendly Egypt! It is an easy walk to the ticket office or you can easily find a taxi. In the village there are cafes and restaurants if you fancy a change from the lovely food at the hotel. The staff were so helpful and eager to please. Excellent breakfast, tasty evening meals and a fabulous view from the roof terrace.
