We stayed in a superior room with a balcony. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed, great shower and fabulous views from the balcony. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant superb. I had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten cooked over coals by the super friendly (and talented!) chef. The location is idyllic with lots of walking trails straight from the door of the hotel. It was completely silent at night. All incredibly relaxing and probably the highlight of our trip to the Basque country.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! It was our first visit to Basque Country, so we didn't have much expectations. Anabel welcomed us, made a tour around the apartment itself and then walked us through different brochures of what to do and visit in the region. To say we were amazed by how friendly and hospitable she was is to say nothing! The apartment itself is amazing and exceeded our expectations: separate room to chill, kitchen with tea variety - everything to dream for.

We were just looking for a place to stay close to the airport before flying home after a road trip around Basque country - and found this little gem of a hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and central. The staff were fantastic -so pleasant, helpful and attentive. We had dinner there twice - food & service were excellent on both occasions. Nice promenade and beach in Plentzia and a good base to explore surrounding area. Also train/metro stop for Bilbao is close to hotel.

We went there a group of four friends in our late 20s and everything was very good. Elgoibar is at a very good location if you want to go to visit some parts of the Basque Country. We were lucky because it was also the local festivities, and taking into account the apartment location within Eibar, we couldn't be happier! The apartment itself is big, it has good light and it comes equipped with everything we needed: washing machine, fridge, and what we most enjoyed: a big terrace!

The house and apartments are perfectly equipped and designed with eye for detail. Breakfasts were delicious and on request vegan & vegetarian options were provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the location was ideal! One can both just stay and enjoy surrounding greenery, silence and calming views or explore Basque Country and Bilbao that is just a few minutes away. All in all, I loved the place and definitely want to come back in the future.

The location in the small town of Azpeitia was ideal for us to discover the Basque Country. Bilbao and San Sebastián are easy to reach by car. The apartment as such is located in a small pedestrian street, with restaurants, bars and shops nearby. It is decorated with a lot of taste and the kitchen is well equipped. And, yes, we can confirm that the beds are really comfortable. The communication with the host was very easy and pleasant. Thank you!

Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is really nice and spacious. The location is great to visit the Spanish and the French Basque Country by car. The hotel has free parking and it’s pet friendly. The property has a gas station a few meters away and small shopping centers with a mechanical workshop in case you get a flat tire as we did. This hotel is great for one night stay but not so great for more than one night.

The beautiful building is historical and really meaningful to the town, it is worthy. Although the main stairs are gorgeous, an elevator is available too. The bar-restaurant has several terraces around the building to relax with a nice basque meal or wine. Legazpi is very well located as a base camp to visit different points in the Basque Country by car from there (free parking at the hotel). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful area just outside of Bermeo. It feels tranquil, farms and animals nearby, a view of the ocean and pine forests. the people who run the hotel are absolutely lovely—they make sure you are happy and comfortable and enjoying yourself. It’s impossible not to enjoy yourself here. a wonderful location for exploring basque country or just having a relaxing getaway in the countryside.

The apartment is lovely decorated and comes with a lot of appliances. In special I would like to mention the washing machine. I came here for cycling in the Basque country, so a washing machine really came in handy. The owners respond super fast through WhatsApp and the Booking app. They speak fluently English and are very sweet. This apartment is not the cheapest on the market, but it has great value for money.

The apartment/house, the location, the view, the owners, the peaceful environment, the close proximity to San Sabastian and lots of really nice places of interest in Basque Country: this is your base. A great hide away if you want peace and with lots of things to do and places to visit nearby. Also a great starting point for a number of nice hikes (and after the hike coming home to). Highly recommendable!

Wonderful hosts, very warm, welcoming and helpful. We received great tips about visiting the Basque Country, the country, language and also about great places to eat. Excellent restaurant / pintxos bar next door. Walking distance to the beach and near to the city centre. Nice breakfast available on demand. There was no self-parking garage, but the valet service was very prompt.

We felt like staying at the castle! It is fantastic hotel! The rooms are very spacious, the mattresses are super comfortable, the bathroom is very well equipped. We can't not to mention the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best breakfast we had during our 1 week trip around the Basque country. We also enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

A great place to relax, a great base for sightseeing trips. The apartment is decorated very tastefully, in a very attractive location and easy-going environment. Contact with the owner regardless of the topic at the highest level. Basque Country is a completely surprising place, not so obvious for a vacation - I recommend it.

We had a great stay at Mikels apartment, it’s brand new and super clean. The Basque Country is beautiful and we enjoyed having a great place to stay during our visit. Nice view and a good value. Fully equipped kitchen and friendly host. I’d come back again!

From start to finish we were made to feel so welcome and part of the “family”! Our guide was amazing and had great chat - we had a laugh and learned lots about wine and the Basque country. Give that man a raise! Bought wine and food to take home. Loved it.

Londres Inglaterra is my go-to landing spot for my annual visit to the Basque Country. It simply does not get better. Anybody in the hospitality industry, specifically people who work in Hotel management, should book a night here and take notes!

Wonderful apartment in the old town. Felt like home and had everything we needed for a one week stay for a family with two young kids. perfect base to explore the Basque Country and eat at Michelin starred restaurants

The staff were most helpful and their service exceeded expectations. The hotel was exceptional value for money. I would recommend this place and would go again if ever I were to visit the Basque Country again.

It was my favourite stay during a trip around the Basque country. The staff were very friendly, the food was very good . The hotel is charming and has a lovely relaxing outdoor space. Bed was super comfy.
