The most beautiful swimming pool - gothic style!
Great restaurant and bar where you can get all the meals, and a very cute store with their products.
Free parking and right net to main roads.
Ideally for a 1-night stay on the road and also to spend few days enjoying the hotel!

The service of this hotel is outstanding, the rooms, spacious and comfortable. The staff is trained to make you feel at home with authenticity and elegance. The spa offers excellent options and breakfast is excellent. Their Michelin star rated restaurant is fabulous.

Venus is phenomenal! Yes, it looks a little weird... but don't let that stop you from staying here. The rooms are huge, the jacuzzi is wonderful, the bed is super comfy and the staff (although invisible) is super helpful. Great value as well. I look forward to returning.

It was very serene and it had some outdoor area. The spa and the circuit were good and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom big . Our room had a nice patio as well and because it's october and a Wednesday, there is no one around. Very quiet.

The lake and the forest, and close-by attractions really did the trick.

I love Salamanca.
I love Salamanca. It has the most majestic historical buildings and everything is within walking distance. It is a healthy mix of tourists but dominated by the local Salamancans which l loved...... out sauntering in the evening, window shopping on Sundays and celebrating each other and life at the local cafe or restaurant on Saaturdays and Sundays

Lovely historic city, I would have liked a few days more mid week to visit more of the museums and the wider area. We did enjoy walks around town and the historic core. I would have liked to get time to explore the shopping areas, the west side of the city and further along the river bank.

We were here for a wedding and got to see the eclipse a couple of days before. The town was hopping with excitement and some places were crowded. It is a very walkable city - tho' you might avoid walking from 12-3 as it's hot. The rest of the time you can usually walk in the shade. We were interested in the links with Hugh O Donnell an Irish chieftain of the 1600s.

Segovia is defnitely a must-see location!!
Segovia is defnitely a must-see location!! You must visit at least Álcazar, cathedral, episcopal palace and admire the unbelievable Roman aqueduct! There are different interesting museums, too. Take care to have enough water with you in the summer, as the old town ist hot, hilly and possibilities to buy water in less crowded streets rather few.

Avila is a beautiful place.
Avila is a beautiful place. We always stop over for two days to enjoy cycling trails and the castle. There are a lot of things to do, like walking the wall. It's a very interesting place with lots of history. The castle wall is very impressive. Easy access from the A6. We have been stopping for the past 20 years and still find something new to do and see.

Ponferrada seems a really nice city. We didn’t get time to visit the castle or cathedral but our friend did and she said both are really great and well worth a visit. Loads of restaurants and places to eat.

A very pleasant town full of historic sites. My stay was definitely too short to see everything I’d have liked to. I’d recommend staying for about 5 days, or even longer if you want to visit nearby Toro.

A very interesting and clean city.
A very interesting and clean city. Lots to visit from the cathedral, Gaudi Palace, parks as well as some great bars and restaurants. The lounge of the Hotel Gaudi (opposite the palace) can be recommended for a drink. Very comfortable and reasonably priced.
Also, some highlights in the surrounding area - Leon and Las Médulas.

I wanted to visit Soria because of the nearby archeological site of Numancia. I had read El Cerco de Numancia by Cervantes as a student and remembered the site. The Museo Numantino in Soria has fascinating artifacts from the archeological site and other locations in the area. Wonderful Roman glass, pottery, jewelry and sculptures. In addition, Soria is a lovely medieval small city well-worth a visit away from more crowded tourist locations such as Barcelona and San Sebastian...
