The hotel is perfectly located on the one of the best beaches in Costa Brava. Safe and well kept peaceful and beautiful place, surrounded by amazing nature, walking paths, just a short walk from L’Escala with all its charming restaurants and bars. I love this hotel, it’s our second getaway here and it’s a great experience! It’s also dog-friendly so we could take our chihuahua with us.

A really fun city to explore, with no shortage of things to do and see and eat! We got around easily on the trams, busses, and taxis, and hop on/off busses. Really recommend booking attractions in advance, even if a few days before as they can sell out on the day in peak summer season. We booked a tour for the Sagrada Familia including going up the tower which was amazing. Casa Vicens was also gorgeous and has inspired us to redecorate our garden at home! The food was also affordable and delicious, our favorite tapas was Cerveceria Catalana for sit-down, and Bo de B for super delicious, affordable sandwiches and salads.

We love Salou it has so much to offer for my kids who love them parks and water parks. Our hotel was close to the beach, close to PortAventura and close to the water parks. There’s also a good selection of shops and restaurants. You are also close to Barcelona and in previous years we would venture there but have been put off by the anti tourist protests so won’t be going there.

No parking, it's like winning the lottery. People were very friendly. Very hot in August. Beautiful sea line, sunsets are amazing. To get to Cap Norfeu took us three times to get there, so my advice- come early because it closes at 10.30 and reopens at 16.30. Citadel of Roses is an interesting place, but the best to visit it afternoon because it is very hot at noon. Near Citadel is a free parking. And also thete is Chinese restaurant right in front wich was very tasty.

Tarragona has so much history and you can see a lot of it without paying entry fees as it's all very open. The beaches are great & plentiful. We stayed near Savinosa which is beautiful - many naturists there but also many families so it seems to work well, very liberal and tolerant attitude which we liked. The buses in Spain in general are fantastic and Tarragona is no exception. We used the buses into the centre and back from Altafulla having walked the 10k coastal path there which is beautiful and well worth it. Lots of places to stop on the way and beaches to swim.

Fantastic place to stay, particularly for gay men!

Fantastic place to stay, particularly for gay men! More expensive than a lot of places but lovely long flat promenade along the front! Have to be careful of bags, jewellery, and personal safety, particularly late at night so think about how far your hotel is from the centre BEFORE you book as streets very quiet late at night! Ideal for muggers! Fantastic views, great museum (worth a visit), and lovely sandy beaches (including gay nudist beach) near centre of town …. Well worth a visit if careful of safety!

We were in Girona for an orienteering race and then sadly had to move on. We would love to return for a couple of days to explore properly as the town was so pretty with lots of cobbled alleyways and interesting city walls. We were told by friends that the cathedral is stunning, but did not have time to visit. Next time! We had good eating experiences (lots of al-fresco places to eat on Placa de la Independencia) and were well looked after by everyone we encountered. We really hope to be be back.
