We had a wonderful two night stay here! Set back from the road in a very tranquil and relaxing setting. The staff and ladies at reception are so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Restaurant is very good! We stayed here to take some walks in the area as well as visit small towns. Perfect location. We hope to come back!

The place is absolutely a gem!! Location in Besalo is beautiful, such a cute village! We had 2 rooms, one of which had a private terrace, which was so cool! We had a great time there, and the owners are super nice people....

Off Grid is such a special place. Gerard, Berta and team went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. The design of the hotel is STUNNING. We felt we right at home - but better! - from the beginning. Sitting by the wood burning fireplace was equally as lovely as our breakfasts in the sun by the pool. My partner and I can’t stop talking about the comfortable bed and pillows. Possibly most importantly, it’s the perfect jumping off location for cycling around a beautiful region. We can’t wait to come back here!

The main advantage of staying at Santuari de la Salut de Sant Feliu de Pallerols is the natural beauty of the landscapes right out of the window, fabulous forest and trails nearby. Rooms were comfortable enough and the place was quiet when we stayed off season. We enjoyed beautiful trails, forest and mushroom picking. Amenities and breakfast were modest but sufficient to enjoy our stay.

The property is really beautiful, the apartment had a great terrace where we could enjoy breakfast and meals. We traveled with out dog and there is an agility park in the garden, which was great. The swimming pool was very nice, too, not the typical hotel pool. It was integrated with the property's typical architecture and it was beautiful.

Maite was great! She made our stay exceptional- helped with recommendations and check on us often! The hotel is lovely and a nice change of pace from others with the open grounds and pool. Olot is the nearest town and is a gem. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed a few days more to explore the area! We will return!!!

Our room was very spacious, and we were given the corner room with a very large balcony. It rained the day we arrived so it was nice to have a small kitchen for snacks and drinks. The restaurant on site was great! The breakfast was also very good! All in all, I recommend Perla!

Besalú is an absolutely stunning medieval town — full of charm, history, and picture-perfect views around every corner. The most magical part is the evening atmosphere, once the day visitors have left. It’s the perfect place for a quiet evening stroll, a relaxed drink in the square. Truly one of the most scenic and atmospheric towns we’ve visited.

Cute little town with a river running through it, a couple of nice bars and restaurants and quaint houses. We recommend L´estacio bar for breakfast and dinner options - you can park right next to it in free parking then walk into the town centre and explore by foot. We walked from Sant Feliu de Pallarols to Les Planes d´Hostoles along the greenway (a super easy almost flat pathway, that took about 1.5 hours with stops) and had an amazing lunch at Fonda Arnau - Can Remena (definitely need to book ahead of time).

It's a wonderful little place and I'm sure there's more to...

It's a wonderful little place and I'm sure there's more to explore than we saw. Just one tip: the churches seem to be accessible by appointment only (one can only peek in through glass at the entrance), which is a pity because there are some wonderful, very old ones. If I were to go next time, I'd arrange with the tourist office to visit them. The Tourist Office were wonderful about helping us see the mikveh and I'm sure they'd be just as great about l letting us visit the churches, but we should have arranged it in advance.

Lovely hotel but lacking in ambience as we were the only guests at dinner and breakfast… not the hotel’s fault but not what I was expecting. Room was lovely but I had to upgrade in order to have dogs with us. Food very good and well presented. No bar so couldn’t get pre dinner drink. No shampoo in bathroom… a basic necessity! Good road through the woods to reach the hotel. Staff, only met owner and lady in dining room who was lovely. I imagine it’s beautiful in the Autumn….

Picturesque Besalú works as a short visit, there is lots to see but it can be done pretty quickly. The medieval centre and bridge are a great explore but it's also set in great scenery and the views as far as the pyrenees add grandeur. There are routes to follow or just chill in one of the cafés dotted around the plazas.

Fantastic food, locally sourced, beautifully cooked by Roy and graciously served by Goretti. A wonderful place to stay and spend a few days hiking or cycling knowing that there was a comfy room and a delicious meal to return to. A real treat!
