Make sure you ask for a room overlooking the lagoon if you are there for the wildlife - our views were spectacular. El Rocio is weird and amazing, like nowhere we've ever been before. Saw heaps of wildlife - birds of every sort, thousands of flamingos, also wild horses, wild cattle, wild dogs (apparently a pest), plus after dark out come the people on their fantastic horses, Andalucian I presume, riding round the town while you sit and eat and admire their skills. Very hot town in the day, sand radiates heat. Don't pay for an over-priced tour of the Donana, go here instead - amazing stay. Oh, and good breakfast too. Air con slow, silent, gentle but eventually effective.

The hotel is right next to the beach and close to restaurants, stores and supermarkets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty, with lots of choices. The swimming pool has a lot of space and good temperature. The room was very nice and clean.

Perfect place for a holiday with children. We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa for 6 nights and I wish we stayed longer. All necessary amenities were there. Place was quiet and food delicious. Swimming pool was very big and always empty during siesta hours. There were always sun umbrellas for everyone. Staff were very nice. Gym is big and with a lot of equipment.

Big stunning hotel. Ample room ensuite big toilet with balcony and magnific views to the sea. Great buffet with a variety of quality food. Animation at the pool along the day and music animation for adults on a huge terrace and stage. Accessible linked to the sea and bus every our to visit the hole town. I will be back soon again. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. There was everything you need to enjoy a couple of days right next to the beach. It was very windy and rainy when I stayed there but this was no problem.
The staff is very very friendly and the place is quiet.
They have free parking right in front of the building. That was perfect.

This is not a typical tourist city, but it was enjoyable and...
This is not a typical tourist city, but it was enjoyable and had a normal feel to it. It is the cheapest place so far I have visited for good value food and drinks. I highly recommend going for a walk along the old pier down at the sea/river inlet and to stay for sunset. There are great value bars down that way that are very reasonably priced. Huelva was a pleasant surprise.

El Rocío is a town which sand roads and no tarmac.
El Rocío is a town which sand roads and no tarmac. It looks like going back in time. Lot of birds in the marshlands which is great for photography. The town is designed for horseback riding and a lot of events take place throughout the year. There are quite a few good restaurants and smaller bars throughout the town. Also recommend to visit the Matalascanas beach.

It's a beautiful town, with lots of places to eat, drink, cruise around by foot. Above all, safe for everyone! I recommend Vita Vino, good wine, excelent food and courteous personal and in a good location. I found interesting knowing the origen and process of the Iberic Ham, so, I recomend the Ham's Museum. It gives you a complete visual information and a full video with important information.

We sent in September and you can tell a lot of businesses can shut after the holiday period , we also saw restaurant were very few or almost no one in them.
Punta Umbria itself is ok, a little rough around the edges. The beach is lovely, We found further down the coast towns like El Rompido to be nicer looking and cleaner.

No parking available, unless you pay extra.
They show photos of a lot of services, but all to pay extra.
The pool is smaller than the photos.
The hammock chairs are not enough for the guests, and they get taken in the morning at breakfast.
The rooms are just standard, with standard quality finishings and furniture.
The bouffet restaurant is not worth it.
The internet would come and go throughout the day.
I paid too much for my stay there and don´t think of returning.

From start to finish the staff made us so welcome. The hotel experience was amazing with so many facilities and things to do. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The reception was amazing and smelt devine!
The entertainment team were brilliant. The shows were so good and they always took an interest in making everyone feel part of the group if they wanted.
I can’t wait to return next year!

Miles of beach, some areas really busy many not. Lovely soft sand and pretty calm sea so easy to swim and great for grown ups and kids alike. Main promanade is full of Chiringuitos (Restaurant/bars) loads of facilities. A busy place but very freindly.

Mazagon is beautifully clean, the locals are all very friendly although not much English is spoken. There are a couple of small bars each serving small plates. A general store sells basics and there is a fishmonger and a baker. The village also has a bank, cash machine and a pharmacy.
