This is a historic hotel, in a beautiful natural setting. The rooms are simple but nostalgic, and they are comfortable enough for a couple of days you'll be spending in the mountains. Breakfast is plentiful, for every taste. The staff is simply exceptional and very hospitable. You feel welcome. It is worth it just for the experience, I would absolutely recommend it.

I liked teh location. The Staff was helpul. The room comfortable. the food exceptional. The restaurant very good as well as the service.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the hotel! The place is charming, authentic and calm. Rooms are cosy and warm, everything is renovated and clean, with pretty private terrace. The dinner and breakfast are amazing - everything was delicious and the prices are fair. Highly recommend staying here if you'd like to take a rest from a noisy city and enjoy beautiful nature, take a walk or a bike tour.

Unique location, almost a magic place. So many things to discover both on the premises but also in the house. Architecture, furniture and atmosphere are fascinating. Best breakfast we have ever enjoyed, in a perfect historic setting. Feels like genuinely being a guest of the family.

Good location for ACT stay over

The choice of food for both dinner and breakfast were very good - especially the dinner buffet which was excellent. The staff in the restaurant were exceptionally attentive, courteous and efficient and made us feel very welcome. The mountain view from our room was quite stunning

This is a jewell of a place! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxurious, the room and bathroom was a bit dated, as is the whole place, we don’t mind that and everything is spotlessly clean and functional. The location is perfect: on the main street but set back from the road with room for a carpark and the restaurant/bar terrace. There is very much a ski chalet feel about the front of the hotel. The large Plane trees on the roadside keep the whole place nice and cool in the summer without it feeling dark and I couldn’t ask for a better terrace to sit out drinking on a hot afternoon. Reception was super friendly and familial. The older man was very helpful with my rubbish Spanish and the younger guy was eager to practice his very passable English, all done with smiles and laughter. I wish I could tell you their names. A vast difference from our later experience in the hotel along the road!! We had a very chilled hour on the terrace with a cold beer before a cool siesta followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed here on our way to Barcelona from our home in France. Sadly it was fully booked for our return trip.

Top marks for this hotel. Super functional, perfect location, really friendly and helpful staff and ridiculously good value. Great breakfast, too. Very cyclist friendly, with storage, tools, wash station.

The hotel was well located and close to the cremallera for Vall de Nuria. It's a 20-minute walk from the train station. Taxis are hard to find. Overall, it was a great place to relax and disconnect. A very quiet and comfortable hotel.

Amazing location with a balcony right above the city centre square. Also it was a 2 minute walk from the bus station. We received a nice welcome as well as tips where to go in the town. The room was beautiful, I can only recommend.

Amazing location of the beaten track with incredible view. Very homey feel and staff were lovely. 100% recommend. Also great food and great price.

Very, very clean, comfortable and quiet. We received a very warm and kind welcome and the breakfast was very tasty, with traditional products.

Dinner was excellent. Very good value. Portions were large. Food was beautifully prepared. Nice cold lager on tap. Cold water. Free breakfast was also excellent. They made us eggs and bacon to order. It was make your own coffee which also was great. Many fruits and cold meats and cheeses to choose from. Also hard salami, slice your own. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and bright. Big tv.

This is a fantastic hotel. Well placed and super super friendly staff. Bike friendly and I would recommend to Anyone making a trip over the Pyrenees to stop here. I had to leave early but a delicious breakfast had been prepared. If you judge a hotel based on how you are treated then you will not find a better place. Quite simply one of the most genuinely welcoming places I have been to.

Beautiful village of Queralbs. Lovely host. Apartment was great with amazing views.
