It was so cozy and welcoming, so beautiful decorated for Christmas celebration with family. At first we thought that we came into wrong house, because we didn't expect that it would be that great! I was asking for only Christmas tree because we were planinng to spend Christmas eve there, but we got so much more. Thank you for that!

Everything, beautiful surroundings, the house itself is really spacious and warm and the little fireplace in the backyard was just perfect and magical. I totally recommend it and I would totally come back 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍

The house was cosy and warm. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, even sleds and a sled hill at the back of the house. The perfect base to explore with a supermarket close by. Huskies and ski resort ten mins away and the reindeer farm 30 mins drive.
On our last day we had a lot of snow, when we came outside the owner had shovelled the snow from the drive way and from our car.
We couldn’t have asked for more. The views from the house were wonderful, the bridge to Sweden was outside of the house a short walk away.

The house is very well equipped and really comfortable. The pictures don't even meet how great it is in real life. Also Petri was super nice and helped us whenever we had any questions. The location is perfect if you want to just be in the nature.

Perfect location for us on our trip. Really nice room with big bathroom and sauna. Free parking around the motel. Free WiFi, worked very well. Good breakfast. If you looking for a five star hotel and service then this will maybe not suite you. But if you looking for a nice and clean place to sleep for a night and don’t have to hit the road hungry, then you hit the spot.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Ritavalkea and set off to explore the whole country!
