AustraliaThe owner of the property, Mr Firoz, was so attentive and made our stay in Labasa an exceptional one. We let him know that we would be arriving earlier than anticipated, and with a previous tenant checking out not too long before we arrived, the staff were able to turn the apartment around in such little time. Mr Firoz met us soon after we arrived, and the apartment was so clean, you could not tell that it was previously occupied moments before we entered. We also had a mishap where we accidentally locked one of the bathrooms from the outside (meaning no one was able to enter it). However once the information was relayed to Mr Firoz, he showed up within an hour or so to resolve the problem by unlocking it asap! With the famous 'babasiga' heat of Labasa, relaxing in the cool aircon was amazing. We also loved the location of Jumanzuls Abode as we were able to take leisurely strolls to Labasa town whenever we needed to buy groceries.

That's the best and warmest homestay we've ever experienced! The cyclone disturbed our plan and we had to postponed our check-in time. The owner and her stuffs were super patient to help with us. Lily and Simon took care of us so carefully. Thanks to Lily for perparing gluten free breakfast for me which were delicious hot cakes and pans. Also thanks them for bringing my daughter to fishing. They treated us like their family members!
We enjoyed the three days to spend in this private, cozy lodge which connecting with a river directly. It's surrounded by nature and you can stay in the yard to watch the river flowing in front of your eyes or just soak your feet in it! We really enjoy drinking and chatting with the sound of fishes jumpping out of water.
The place is not luxury but full of warm and privacy. Highly recommend and we'll choose it again when we come back to Savusavu.

We really liked the accommodation. The view is bombastic. To get there from the road you need a 4x4 car or a little bit of walking. It took us about 10 minutes to get down to the main road + another 10 minutes into town. There are several good restaurants and shops in the town. You can either get back to the accommodation by taxi or by walking up: from road to accommodation approx. 15 - 20 min.
The breakfast was exceptionally delicious. Fresh home-baked bread, lots of fresh fruit, good coffee... (vegan options also available). The whole team was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. You can feel the attention to the detail. Thank you Sharon and Team for the great stay.
All in all highly recommended!

Clark and Delisa were more than happy to go out of their way to make sure that my every need was met. All my washing, breakfast and snorkeling gear was all taken care of.
The location was superb.

Extremely friendly owner with magical healing hands. My girlfriend had back pain and received a wonderful massage from the owner. We had a room with a sea view, and the lookout was fantastic

Savusavu is a beautiful and peaceful place with stunning scenery, lovely beaches and a very relaxing atmosphere. The people are warm and friendly, and it is an ideal destination for anyone wanting to escape the busy city life. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to return.

A gem of a place --- a coastal town with lovely people, cute...
A gem of a place --- a coastal town with lovely people, cute market, different stores&eateries where you can buy cloth, bread and local dishes (curries, coconut fish, dalo etc.). There are also diving/sightseeing boats. Forget fancy resorts -- stay at a locally owned hotel or BnB, walk around town or book a local taxi driver to drive you around to show your waterfalls, mud pools and lil farm stands.

Savusavu is a great place. Lots to see.
Savusavu is a great place. Lots to see. It more then what we read on line. We visited many places and areas.
The taxi drivers were very nice always had the meter going. Always Pointing out the areas and explaining etc.
We took taxi to Labasa airport and driver had the meter on and it only came at $93.00 which was very reasonable.
We tried few restaurants and food was great and reasonable price.
If we have a chance we will be back for longer stay.
