This archipelago of 322 islands are situated in the South Pacific Ocean and well known for their varying coral reefs. Its tropical rainforests, coconut plantations and palm-tree-lined beaches are big draws for those looking to soak up the scenery. Over 1,500 species of sea life live amongst the islands’ reefs, making it a real haven for scuba divers and snorkellers. Adrenaline junkies can take up whitewater rafting and even skydiving experiences above the crystal-clear sea. If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground, then islands such as Taveuni and Kadavu are a rustic paradise for hikers. The capital of Suva is a great place to learn about the country’s history and culture, with the Fiji Museum and Municipal Market among the attractions. The town has a large Indian population so you’ll find plenty of authentic curry houses serving up tasty dishes. Most accommodation can be found in the main cities of Suva and Nadi, with a range of hotels, apartments and beach resorts among the top choices.
What a wonderful place. The accommodation was huge. I had a garden bure which was wonderful. The buffet breakfast was huge and plentiful. Lunch / Dinner and bar snacks were all also delicious. I especially enjoyed the local dish Kokoda which was superb.
On top of this the setting was beautiful with incredible sunsets on the beach best served with a pina colada! To top this all off are the most wonderful staff who go above and beyond in their service and always with a smile. I would most definitely stay here again.
Staff were amazing. Security staff at night. Staff couldn't do any more to make us happy. Great pools. Just be aware pool fencing laws not like Australia if u have young children who take off on you! My son is 10 so it wasn't a problem
Tasty dishes at the restaurant and tremendous service at the bar. Walking up and stairs on my 3 nights stay was a bonus - keeping fit that is.😁😁. Definitely returning to SUVA MOTOR INN on my next trip to suva.
Lovely resort, great pool and beautiful sunsets. Attentive staff, great food in the restaurant (particularly the calamari and local fish curry!). We enjoyed the evening performances.
Room was spacious and very clean.
