This place is very special. Remote location that is just beautiful, and the staff are amazing. We had the place to ourselves and once we worked out how the food was arranged, and we realised that Oscar the chef was ours and he would cook for us, it was just wonderful. Going to the markets, the local villages and road side stall for ingredients was a treat in itself and the food was magnificent. Solo. LiLi and Simon were wonderful hosts

Impeccable 1 Bedroom 4 unit Apartment in Savusavu is set in Savusavu.
Savusavu is a fantastic place to visit. It's hard to believe how laid back and friendly everyone is. Plenty of interesting places to visit. Most things are very reasonably priced, particularly restaurants, and taxis are a bargain! No pushy vendors like you find in Nadi or Suva. It truly is the "Hidden Paradise" and I highly recommend a visit
It's a beautiful remote area. There is a lot of development going on and they are providing a lot for tourist. Still it's looking very natural. The village Savusavu is actually not really nice. But the surrounding is stunning. I went there for diving. I did my dive with Koro Sun and it was just amazing.
Savusavu was ideal for us. The town has everything you need and not so big you feel overwhelmed, just right. The snorkeling in the area is great. Of course as with Fiji in general the people are so friendly!
Beauitful scenery. Vuadomo waterfall is a must see. Make sure to take some kava and present to the village chief/leader for fijian ceremony called sevusevu. After that you pay $10FJD per person and a guide will go with you to waterfall. From savusavu town it takes 20 to 30 minutes drive. There will be a sign board on right hand side if you driving towards labasa written as Vuadomo Village you turn on left and drive in.
Savusavu is a beautiful time capsul though there is evidence of change coming. There is a hire car company in the town, and buses that can take you to Labasa the Capital of Vanua Levu. Grace Kitchen and the Copra Shed were the two places I ate. Another I have used on other occasions are surf and turf. The Hot Springs are a fascinating feature of Savusavu. Locals use them for cooking
Favourite place was the local market, the chicken curry roti (F$1.50 each)obtained from a little shop next to the market. There is a bakery next to the market that bakes daily, but get in quick as they are practically sold out by 1pm. Fresh fruit juice at the local market. Take an empty water bottle to fill up and take away (F$5 for 1.5lts) or F$1 for a cup. It is easy to get around, obviously a hat and sunscreen are essential when walking. Everything you need to access is within walking distance. Or Taxis are reasonable, but best negotiate and agree on your price first with the drivers.

We arrived about one week after the resort re-opened after being shut for about two years because of Covid. A few days before our arrival we were informed that our reserved room would not be available and we discussed other arrangements with the hotel. By the time we arrived, they had hustled and gotten our original room ready, which turned out great. We appreciated how hard they had worked to get things sorted. We thought the food was great and the prices were reasonable. Everybody at the hotel was very nice.

I loved the fact that Savusavu is not super touristy end yet it had everything you needed... the resort was wonderful, the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly, like family, the bungalows were comfortable and positioned well for privacy and with amazing views, the yoga shala and pool were lovely places to spend time. Although there's not much of a beach the bay opposite the resort is beautiful for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking etc... Daku is a little piece of paradise.

It was a wonderful stay . I could not hope for more. Sharon was great and so wonderful! She took me to the town and took me to the beach swimming and picking up shells. I had a great time. Her place is absolutely beautiful and stunning views from every angle. Breakfast was so so delicious and healthy. She can also provide all kinds of activities. I would highly recommend it. Thank you Sharon
