The spa facilities were excellent - a good size swimming pool, nice hot tub. The proximity to the lake a real bonus - just a short walk with a lovely bar resto overlooking the lake. The individual chalet style accommodation was great - very clean and comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful

This is one of the best Logis hotels we have stayed in, beautiful and very clean room as was the rest of the building and all the staff where very kind and helpfull. The breakfast was very good with plenty of selection and good produce.

An extraordinary town overflowing with mediaeval buildings...

An extraordinary town overflowing with mediaeval buildings so very picturesque. Many bars and restaurants. A fabulous Musee d'Art Moderne, unexpectedly good! Cite of Stained Glass, housed in a beautiful building was also very enjoyable. All in close proximity to the amazing cathedral.

Convenient location close to the Rte De Anglaise. 350km from Geneva. Stayed here many times over the past 2 years. Décor in rooms starting showing signs of wear. Cleanliness could be improved within the rooms. Excellent large car park. Close to amenities, walking distance and fuel station only 400m away.

If you want a motel style stopover, this place fits the bill. It’s not fancy. The breakfast is good. Plenty of free car parking. We had bikes and kept them in our rooms for security which was not a problem for the hotel. Staff were all really pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area.

The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area. You need to drive to othe places or have a bike. The golf course seemed popular but not crowded. The spa looks good, but I didn't use it on this occasion. The pool is outside with a canopy built over, popular with families, but at other times quiet for a proper swim. Short drive to the next village with swimming and watersports facilities. Picnic area and several food outlets and toilets and showers. Free parking places. On the other side of the lake is another village with a larger beach and more facilities. The city of Troyes has a fine medieval centre. But I would recommend a drive to Piney for more good examples of medieval architecture.

Lovley hotel I have stayed now 7 times going there again in no 2 days time always stay a night or two Here before going fishing absolutely value for money and a beautiful village some nice little restaurants and a great kebab place too 🔝🔝🔝

We ate in the hotel restaurant, recommended. We walked a short way to the lake with the dogs which was very pleasant, The village church was very interesting construction. We did not go to the nearby resort area with beach and watersports but have been previously. The lake path is perfect for walking or cycling

A quiet provincial town with all the facilities you might...

A quiet provincial town with all the facilities you might need such as a boulangerie, fuel, supermarket, etc. A nice walk along the river and around the grounds of the town hall reveals a hidden woodland playground for children. Lots of crows and wood peckers amongst the old trees.

We booked Les Tonnelles just for 1 night as a stop over on our way up through France. It was perfect for that, with easy parking right outside, friendly staff (who spoke a bit of English), great food in the small restaurant, and a comfortable room. All at a good price. Not sure if we’d want to stay any longer.

Lots of historical buildings, there’s a walking tour that’s well signed. A blend of old and modern. Small enough to walk in a day, there is a free bus that you can get on to take you round. Plenty of choices of places to eat & drink.

Situated just outside the lovely city of Troyes, Saint-Parres-Aux-Trrtres is an excellent commercial centre but, more importantly for us, was close to the autoroute so very little time was lost while we stayed overnight on our trip from Calais to Provence.
