The hotel was beautiful, clean, staff were very nice, and the location is excellent. They have great breakfast there too. And you can make yourself tea and coffee any time of day. Didn't end up using the sauna and the hammam (ran out of time) but that would've been a nice touch.

The breakfast was superb. We traveled with 7 months old child and I hoped the location was a bit better. The metro is just around the corner which is good but once you leave the hotel the neighborhood is not where I would like to live. The hotel itself however is super comfy despite the size of the room. The walk in shower and bed are the cherry on the top after you walk all day around Paris. Thank you!

The hotel is very well located and renovated with good quality breakfast and friendly staff. The room size is surprisingly large, not usual in Paris. Special thanks to Alexandra at reception for her attentiveness and promptness both at check in and check out. We can only recommend it, we will go back if we go to Paris again.

I had an exceptional stay at Motel One Porte Dorée, it honestly exceeded all my expectations. The whole place is super well maintained, everything looks new and really cared for. The staff were incredibly polite and genuinely friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The neighborhood around Porte Dorée is so charming that it made me fall even more in love with Paris. It’s super accessible too , the metro is just a few minutes’ walk and the area has such a nice vibe with people walking their dogs, jogging, cute cafés… everything just felt perfect and made our trip 100% better.

We stayed as a family with two young children and the room was fantastic. It has a living room with a sofa bed and a separate sleeping area, plus with two separate showers. We were very comfortable with the large size of this room. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The children really enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool which has a glass pyramid ceiling to take in the natural light. Above all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel bar twice for dinner. Whilst not a full restaurant, the food was delicious and service was great. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and Decathlon is just down the road which we went daily to stock up on affordable winter gear.

The hotel is in the best place to stay in Paris - on one of the most beautiful streets, within walking distance of famous museums and luxury shops.The breakfast was absolutely amazing - everything was of the highest quality (the croissants were simply the best). We also had dinner from the famous chef Eric Frechon, we really enjoyed the meal and the wonderful table setting. Most of all I would like to mention the hotel staff, true professionals who surround you with care and attention as soon as you cross the threshold of the hotel. Thanks to them this hotel will be remembered for a lifetime (we have stayed in many famous and luxurious hotels around the world, but Le Bristol Paris exceeded all our expectations).

The hotel, room, and location exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was very nice, with a very comfortable bed and an amazing view on the Seine. The room is also very well sound-proofed. When the windows were closed none of he sounds from outside could be heard. The air conditioning also worked very well. The curtains also blocked out all light very effectively. The restaurant was also excellent: especially: the food, cocktails, and outdoor seating.

The city is easy to travel around and its fairly inexpensive...

The city is easy to travel around and its fairly inexpensive to use public transport. Lots of eating places and prices vary from Burger houses to Haute Cuisine. There are wonderful places to visit and unique architecture to be seen and marveled at. Our visit was in mid October and there was much to see. The Moulin Rouge show is a must see.

Very good and comfortable apartment.

Very good and comfortable apartment. Long distance for the center of the city. Confusing transport directions,buses, metro lines. Quiet but dangerous neiberhood. Paris most wonderful city i have seen in my life!

Everything was great during our stay, the room and the building looked as expected, if not even better! The hosts were very helpful and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed every day. Definitely recommend this place, especially the area, which was very beautiful, clean, and safe!

No bin bag in the kitchen, a wobbly kitchen table, chairs that feel unsafe, TV with no signal, remote with no batteries, wardrobe without knobs to open the door and drawers, no mat in bathroom, no hooks on wall near shower, unsafe main door opening system, should be checked or oiled

this property is not suitable for human living. it is even...

this property is not suitable for human living. it is even worst than third world countries. Electric currents in entire bathroom with water running around, abusive and nonsense manager, property is in dangerous condition, tons of mosquitoes, heaters are also giving you intermittent shocks, all the furniture is absolutely rubbish. we left the property with life threatening danger and with absurd manager. Our vacation is spoiled completely. we have to call emergency 112 to secure us and finally able to came out from this property, walked many kilometers in a rainy cold day to move to another accommodation with premium payment. it will be not shame to say that Booking.com is running a scam by promoting such hazardous property with higher ranking. totally worthless.

if you don't get or like paris, its not paris thats at fault...

if you don't get or like paris, its not paris thats at fault.. lots of problems and issues but overall only London beats it - and even then its close... as hemingway said: "there are only two places in the world you feel at home - your home and paris..."

The apartment is clean, well equipped and convenient for...

The apartment is clean, well equipped and convenient for Metro Line 3, a large supermarket and local bistros. There is also a scattering of take away vans near the station that look well used by the locals. One in particular - based around a London bus - appears to have a large screen where many gather to watch football (soccer). We used this as a base for exploring Paris, rather than visiting Bagnolet, but could see plenty of places in the area where we would have liked to spend time had we not been trying to cram so much of central Paris into our stay. Père Lachaise cemetery is only 3 stops away, for those who would like to pay their respects to the likes of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Edith Piav. Metro Line 3 offers a convenient gateway to Paris, as well as an easy route to Gare du Nord and the Eurostar, or train link to CDG. Gare du Nord has a luggage drop facility that allows you to leave your bags to let you squeeze every last moment of your final hours in this amazing city, unencumbered by luggage.

There are plentiful shops, restuarants, pharmacies, bakers, banking, grocery and clothing options. The metro stops in Saint Mande- M1 train. I recommend La Fraternite restuarant. Also La Tourvelle is excellent. The area brasseries are all quite nice. The Balmer Boulangerie (bakery) is excellent as is B Bakery. The fruit and juice stand across from the Balmer and near hotel Le Ruisseau is excellent (fresh squeezed smoothies 5 euros? Le Ruisseau is an exccelent choice for lodging.

I loved the fact that room was very warm, it's amazing!

I loved the fact that room was very warm, it's amazing! The location is very convenient, since it's close to metro and buses. But the photos didn't really match the reality (they were taken some years ago for sure). The room just need a little fresh touch and better cleaning (the floor cover had stains). But overall, it was a nice stay.

A village with real character and yet very close to the city...

A village with real character and yet very close to the city of Paris with excellent shops and restaurants. a Carrefour, Vanilla bakery and numerous little cafes. The corner cafe/ restaurant 'Villa Saint Gervais' on the corner of Place du General Leclerc was our go-to place for refreshments and superb meals. my favourite boutique: BisBis, on Rue Andre Joineau for an eclectic selection of accessories and clothes. There is a good offer of public transport connections and a bicycle hire pickup-station nearby.
