Well, we were escaping the heat from our flat in Olonzac (a little town and hour west of the Mediterranean. We were so eager to find an A/C room. From the outside, the Leukos Hotel looked a bit worn out, but once we stepped inside, it was everything we were looking for. The staff was most excellent. The location was super - we could just leave our car in the parking lot, and walk up into Leucate Village for dinner. The breakfast was completely worth the price - and we took advantage of having a huge breaklast. The A/C worked perfectly, and we reveled in the cool cool room. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and looked towards the pool. The sun never came in - which really kept us cool. So, in our view, everything was perfect for a 3 day stay. We wanted to stay longer !!!

This was a last-minute booking and we couldn’t of lucked out more! The place was beautiful. The breakfast for a small additional charge was fantastic as well! The staff was more than helpful and very friendly and we would definitely stay here again. The pool was lovely after a hot day on the beach or sightseeing to enjoy one of our wonderful purchased French wines that we bought that day. it has designated parking and is walkable to everything around the beach, all the restaurants, etc.

The location is in the middle.of the village, great restaurants at walking distance. The decoration and design of the areas are amazing, the fireplace, modern artwork, comfortable sofas.make the lobby extremely attractive.
The room was basic but very clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
On top of everything the breakfast was a great spread.

The hotel was easy to find even if it was very late (almost midnight), I could park really close to my room (very convenient!) and staff was most helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room, with a little terrace to drink coffee in the morning before leaving; near a nice walk until the village, great for walking with my dog. We truly appreciated the place!

It was fascinating to walk the streets of a well-preserved Medieval town. Lots to see even within the city walls. The walk around the ramparts is highly recommended as are the castle, restaurants and shops. It is also very interesting to visit the Bastide section of Carcassonne across the Aude river. Many unique shops, good restaurants and some fun sights. The Canal-Midi is not far.

We really enjoyed our time in Narbonne.
We really enjoyed our time in Narbonne. For us, it was the perfect size. There was enough to see and do to keep us busy, but it was still small enough that we could walk around, get to know the city, and really get a feel for the place.
The market was a highlight and a great place to explore, and we had some really good meals at the restaurants around town. We also made the trip to Les Grands Buffets, which was definitely an interesting and memorable experience. It was unlike anything else we did on the trip!
There were plenty of sights and interesting places to visit without feeling like we were constantly rushing from one thing to the next. Narbonne also turned out to be a great home base for exploring the Languedoc-Roussillon region. We were able to take day trips and see more of the area while still coming back to a town that was easy and enjoyable to explore on its own.
Overall, we really enjoyed Narbonne. It had just the right combination of food, history, things to see, and a relaxed, walkable feel. It was a great stop on our trip and a place we would happily visit again.

It is a little town with just one attraction as the Barbarosa fortress and the church next to it. And the greatest appeal is Pierre Richard winery 10 minutes away by car. But I absolutely fell in love with the town market, foods, wine and people. Real feeling of how perfect an ordinary town life can be, like a French film became the reality.

This is a beautiful sandy beach which slopes gently into the sea. It is ideal if you have small children as entry into the sea is gentle. There are a few restaurants and shops but is one of the quieter resorts.

Narbonne is fascinating with all its Roman history. Wonderful food, bars, cafes and local market. It was a real surprise and a very walkable town. Would definitely recommend. We stopped off from Paris as we headed to Barcelona but could have definitely stayed longer. Bar Lobo great for sourdough pizzas, reasonably priced and Cadence at the museum for a more up market meal. All tapas was excellent and the market is a MUST but be aware it closes at 2pm
