Apart from the wonderfully huge sign saying my name for all to see, it was magnificent to have a hotel just for me ...... In all seriousness, I hadn't stayed here before, or in fact in the area at all. So, it was a very pleasant surprise to find this little gem of a hotel. Easy access to the hotel, right off a main road, but not at all busy and noisy. The staff were so helpful and full of smiles and helped out when my French was somewhat lacking in areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well 'stocked' - as in good sized towels (but always could be a little bigger). I liked that there was a vending machine in the hotel, good range of drinks and snacks. Check in and out times were good, and check in and out process was quick and efficient. We did not use the hotel restaurant as we were busy for one of the nights, and the second night was a Sunday, so they weren't open - but the menu looked great and the actual restaurant was great inside (you walked through it to the breakfast room). The breakfast buffet was good, a decent range of food and drink, good size cups and glasses (not the tiny ones where it is like chugging down a shot of orange juice). We didn't use the swimming pool, but it was outside of the window of the breakfast room. It looked a good size and was clean with clear water.

What a beautiful building with access to a natural thermal swimming pool. Such a friendly receptionist who went above and beyond to help.

Wanted to be walking distance to station, shops and centre of town. Location perfect. Lovely view of city from the room. Wonderful food smells from the restaurant connected to the hotel.

Very close to all culture and art locations

I was visiting Felletin to travel on the railway branch line from Busseau-sur-Creuse that is expected to close on 31 August 2025. The hotel was ideally located just a five minute walk from the railway station in the centre of the town. I was made very welcome by the proprietors and hope to return.

The food is a highlight in this wonderful village hotel. It is peaceful, comfortable with a l9vely small pool in the pleasant garden. Dinner was excellent- freshly prepared, innovative and delicious

Rooms were basic but very clean. Staff was super helpful when we had a crisis and helped us in sorting everything out.

Breakfast was limited, the evening meal was excellent. The staff were so very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much
