The rooms were large and bright. The bed was comfy . The pool was lovely. One thing I would have liked was another couple of pillows. One was not enough, and there was no spare in the room.

That was one of the best stays I had since I am travelling with my dogs between Portugal and Germany. I have three dogs now, one was just 11 weeks when I arrived there. I booked it, because of the positive reviews from others about dog friendliness and my expectations were far exceeded. I first left my doggies in the car and talked to the receptionist which I think it was the owner and told him that I am travelling with tree doggies, one of them a puppy and he was exited himself to meet them and asked why I left them in the car. They prepared my room in the first floor because it was bigger because of the doggies but as my little puppy sometimes has to pee at nights I asked for a room in the ground floor and he directly agreed as there was one free room left. Then he also adjusted the price for the doggies as he said I am just there to sleep and three are the same than two. Also he asked me if he can meet the pack and went out with me to greet my doggies. I never felt such a warm welcome during my travels with my doggies than here. The room was comfortable and clean and also I got a big bottle of water in a glas bottle. Very sustainable and nice. Definitely a full recommendation especially if you are travelling with dogs. I hope that I will arrive earlier on my way back to Portugal to have dinner there. Thanks for everything.

It's an interesting city, with an interesting biography and infrastructure, and an interesting concept. My favorite place is its center, as for food, there are cafes available, I really enjoyed being there especially on New Year's Day.

We didn’t explore much outside the Futuroscope, as we spent three full days in the park. However, the town is easy to get around, and having a large Auchan supermarket right next to the park is very practical for visitors.

The town is nice and sleepy Has main facilities. We drove around to find a bar for a glass of wine but couldn’t find anywhere. It is however about 8 mins drive from major town. Didn’t stay long enough to get to know it.

On vast manor estate with massive blue cedar trees and other greenery, tranquillity! When I rang to reserve a table for our evening meal the restaurant was fully booked. However reception suggested a restaurant nearby, Bateau Ivre. Very helpful! Wonderful golf course with great practice facilities

The apartment is immaculate with superb attention to detail, blending old traditional with modern technology. The furnishings and light equipment well planned and of good quality. Really friendly small town with a wonderful market on Sunday. Great atmosphere and excellent fresh produce. Lovely local bar and cafe. We were staying for the weekend as we were at a party nearby. Lovely quiet but friendly town for short stay.

I booked ACE Vendee on the way down, had to cancel as my boat was moved, I promised to re book, I booked ACE Poitiers because I am not good geography and stayed at ACE VENDEE, but even though I stayed at ACE Vendee, I paid twice for one stay. ACE Hotel group therefore were honored by my promise and took my money twice. I can only stay in one hotel at a time. This needs to be looked at if I am EVER going to stay at ACE hotels again as I have property in Jersey And the Dordogne and ACE Vendee is halfway. Otherwise my family and I will certainly be looking elsewhere.

The hotel was located on Futuroscope with Futuroscope pricing for what was a rather basic hotel. If you are looking for a good value overnight stop-over of reasonable quality during a long journey, you might well be a little disappointed and would do well to avoid the Futuroscope resort area to get better value.

We couldn't have been more pleased with this location for a stop over on route to and from the Pyrenees. Our Hotel was on a golf course with lovely grounds in a very tranquil setting. We ate in our Hotel, which also had a lovely terrace bar. Nearby was a good sized supermarket so we could stock up on a few things before heading to the Channel Tunnel

Although it appears off the beaten track it is on the RN10...

Although it appears off the beaten track it is on the RN10 and just 10 minutes or so from the A10 north of Poitiers. It was reachable in one day's drive from Calais. In the village we found a superb take-away pizza place with a wood-fired brick oven. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The biggest local attraction is Futuroscope but we were en-route to Spain and in too much hurry to visit it.
