Guillaume, the owner was great. He arranged restaurant bookings for us when his was closed, nothing was too much trouble. Quickly sussed I like a cold beer when returning after a day out and my preferred seat. Him and all his staff were so friendly we extended our stay. The hotel is lovely, very clean, luxurious and in great condition. It's location is excellent, easy walk to pont du arc. Dead end road so no traffic noise, yet easy to get to. We're already planning our next visit.

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedroom was spacious with a large, comfortable bed and incredibly soft bedding, ensuring a great night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, and the heating worked perfectly, keeping us cozy throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for a few days, and the thoughtful inclusion of coffee pods was a lovely touch.

It's a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, even around the pool area. Breakfast, lunch & dinner possibilities. Large parking, small but cozy spa area. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and have comfortable beds, powerful air-co and a small terrace. Little noise from other rooms or corridors. Extra kudos for the handy refrigerator, which cools drinks quickly but makes no noise at all (excellent brand choice). Very friendly staff, nothing is too much for them.

I had flown over Nimes many times and gone from the railway station to the airport on the shuttle bus but never actually stayed. With limited time available, I really wanted to see the Roman amphitheatre and it certainly didn't disappoint. I plan to return one day to explore more as I felt very comfortable strolling around on my own in this very pleasant and historical city which has much to offer

A quiet, picturesque little fishing town with proximity to beaches and wetlands. There is a lot to do for a tourist, many good Seafood restaurants and several beautiful beaches. I went horse riding with the company "Lecurie des Dunes" on Promenade a cheval. It was a magical excursion. All the horses were well cared for, the guide Joe was the best. Had a wonderful couple of hours.

We planned our stay in Anduze to enjoy the local steam train trip from Anduze to Saint Jean du Gard. Our hosts Sara and Jonathon proved to be wonderful. The conversation (in English) flowed and many stories were enjoyed. A recommended local restaurant for dinner was enjoyed plus breakfast on the terrace back at our accommodation. We planned two nights but due to car issues, only managed one.

A very beautiful old town, with fabulous remains from the Roman era, narrow winding streets, fine 17th century buildings, and some very modern architecture too. The train station, with arches and fine details clearly influenced by the old Roman amphitheatre, is also well worth a visit.

Le grau du roi is a beautiful compact fishing port. It is located along a bar and cafe canal like estuary. To sit whilst sipping a cold beer, enjoying a local wine or indulging in a splendid seafood meal whilst watching the boats returning in the evening or the sun setting over the lighthouse guarded quayside is heavenly.
