We liked absolutely everything about this property. We Were traveling with a baby and our stay was super comfortable. The hotel is renovated, very stylish and clean. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. We had a daily room cleaning. Hotel is located in the very center of Bordeaux, in the nicest area. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our flight was cancelled so we chose to stay here rather than going into Bordeaux city centre for the night. We were so pleased we did! Lovely, quiet and beautifully appointed. Good sized rooms and a delicious dinner. We stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed but they offered us a grazing menu of cheeses, smoked trout and delicious small plates. Perfect.

The breakfast was incredible, from a salmon cheesecake to fresh yoghurt and granola, ham and cheese, poached eggs, all on one tray. My husband is dairy intolerant and Mathilde and the chef went above and beyond to give him the same exceptional quality with dairy free alternatives. Nothing was overlooked, Mathilde in particular really made sure everything was perfect for us. Even surprising us with wine and tapenade for my husbands birthday whilst we were in the spa. She aided us with reservation timings and nothing was too much to ask. I honestly cannot say enough about this hotel. The value for money is the best I have experienced across the world.

A large hotel on the very edge of the town, being only a few minutes walk into the market square. There was plenty of parking. The rooms were large, as was the bed, which was comfortable. There was a really good shower in the bathroom with good products, and a separate toilet. There was tea and coffee in the room, and a fridge in the cupboard. The TV was very large, and the WiFi was generally good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed a Sunday lunch in the restaurant, which was excellent.

Lovely and patient staff, all very understanding of how bad our French was and all more than willing to speak in English which was very kind of them. There were a few questions we had for staff at the desk and they were always really helpful. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and great bathroom! Also, the public transport in Bordeaux is amazing so we were able to travel all over from here with max 1 change on buses and trams.

We stayed the night before hiring a car and driving to Arcachon. IT was ideally situated and had a good selection of rooms and services. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a hot breakfast buffet the following morning before checking out mid morning.

Best to have a car.

Best to have a car. We used our car very day to drive to various vineyards and wineries on both the left bank and the right bank. The location of the chateau is near the main highway and easy to access. There were ample local shops and restaurants within a short drive from the chateau to grab cheese, bread, and supplies.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is incredibly pet friendly. Our room had a huge bed which was comfortable. Usual French style pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast and walking distance to a restaurant or service station cafeteria for dinner. Only possible complaint was no English channels on TV but then we were in France so not surprising lol! Will thoroughly recommend and stay again. Will also try other Ace hotels now to see if they're as good. Gets 5* from us.

Ease of access to transport, grocery store, parking spot. Ease of getting in, feeling safe, secure and cozy. We arrived after 8pm, Marion was waiting for us with the keys and instructions . It was a raining day. We unpacked and walked to grab items for breakfast for our stay. Marion was a great help to us when we had a challenge with the electric car!

Unfortunately, my stay was short, so I didn’t have the chance to visit the restaurant or the spa. The beds were extremely comfortable. It would be nice to pay a bit more attention to details, such as having water in the room, but overall it was a very good experience.

The location and the female owner’s attitude. However, as the restaurant was closed and we had booked a table, he tried to move our booking elsewhere without joy. He was unhelpful in his excerpts. It’s very tired and worn out and uncomfortable, but her food is amazing!!! It’s worth staying just for her food. None of the advertised facilities are working, pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc.. and the bathrooms are dreadful. But don’t let that out you off!

Really comfortable room with great bathroom and shower. We used the attached restaurant and it was excellent, as was the locally sourced wine ( literally from the Chateau next door). I would heartily recommend both the hotel and restaurant and will certainly return.

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby
