The variety of breakfast was great, I loved the coffee station and especially the 24hr water station which could be refilled.
I had a peaceful night sleep and my bed was super comfortable. I am definitely returning to Hotel Majestic in September.

Breakfast was great with coffee, waffles and eggs made fresh based on order. We had dinner one night at the restaurant which is an absolute must. It was lovely!
Super friendly and attentive staff. We were there during the fires outside Bordeaux in July 2026 and the staff were calm and reassuring offering to help with booking trains out etc.

Great rooms and great service. Great pool! Beautifully renovated buildings with very nice historical atmosphere. Beautiful terrasse for breakfast and afternoon drinks and very sweet and helpful hosts and hired staff. Beautiful location. The village is five minutes away, on foot, and has a great restaurant, Le Pistou, and a pizzeria. We met helpful people in the town tourist office. We went on walks to two of the neighboring towns and met friendly hosts and had great meals there too. We were five, spent two nights, and recommend highly.

Our room was fabulous (No 5) huge and airy, fantastic bathroom & very comfortable beds. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming, especially Susie the concierge cat! Marie Cecile the owner organised a private visit to Chateau La Tour Martillac for us and gave us loads more suggestions re chateaux to visit. We had a lovely meal in Domaine de Larchey the first night & the Samuel the restaurant very kindly made reservations for us at La Table de la Lavoir at Chateau Haut Lafite the following night which we would never have secured ourselves.

A large hotel on the very edge of the town, being only a few minutes walk into the market square. There was plenty of parking. The rooms were large, as was the bed, which was comfortable. There was a really good shower in the bathroom with good products, and a separate toilet. There was tea and coffee in the room, and a fridge in the cupboard. The TV was very large, and the WiFi was generally good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed a Sunday lunch in the restaurant, which was excellent.

Very comfortable and quiet place near airport. All rooms are well equipped as well as kitchen. Friendly and helpful personnel, clean everywhere. Laundry looks perfect and water pool has warm water. For France this hotel is a great value for price and quality. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed the night before hiring a car and driving to Arcachon. IT was ideally situated and had a good selection of rooms and services.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a hot breakfast buffet the following morning before checking out mid morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is incredibly pet friendly. Our room had a huge bed which was comfortable. Usual French style pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast and walking distance to a restaurant or service station cafeteria for dinner. Only possible complaint was no English channels on TV but then we were in France so not surprising lol! Will thoroughly recommend and stay again. Will also try other Ace hotels now to see if they're as good. Gets 5* from us.

Best to have a car.
Best to have a car. We used our car very day to drive to various vineyards and wineries on both the left bank and the right bank. The location of the chateau is near the main highway and easy to access. There were ample local shops and restaurants within a short drive from the chateau to grab cheese, bread, and supplies.

Unfortunately, my stay was short, so I didn’t have the chance to visit the restaurant or the spa. The beds were extremely comfortable. It would be nice to pay a bit more attention to details, such as having water in the room, but overall it was a very good experience.

Ease of access to transport, grocery store, parking spot. Ease of getting in, feeling safe, secure and cozy. We arrived after 8pm, Marion was waiting for us with the keys and instructions . It was a raining day. We unpacked and walked to grab items for breakfast for our stay. Marion was a great help to us when we had a challenge with the electric car!

Sauternes is a very pretty village but also a very small one-horse town. we arrived on a Monday and all the restaurants were shut and the 1 tapas bar that is open doesn't allow for dogs (we chose this because there was a review from someone who was driving from the Uk to Spain, the same as us, and had a dog and they recommended this bar, however I think the policy has changed since then. Our hosts weren't very hospitable and sent us to Langon telling us there was a lot open there, however, there was only 1 bar serving terrible food. We wouldn't visit here again.

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby
