Located outside the Sologne region, the hotel is located in the country of the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. This hotel has a cozy atmosphere, well located for visiting castles, and service was amazing. Cocktails and breakfast were worth the price. Their family room is great value. It’s a real 2 bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. This means that you get to keep your privacy but there is only one exit to the hallway. Your kids don’t have to go out to a public space to get to your room if they get scared at night. Kid friendly pool also a plus!

This is a lovely hotel. The room was large, well equipped and very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and very clean. A small fridge in the room contained water and there were complementary biscuits. Quiet and peaceful. Free parking was available in the central courtyard. The restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. Both the restaurant and the breakfast room were elegant. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Situated about halfway between Chambord and Orleans, it makes a very good base for visiting the chateaux in the area as well as Orleans and Clery-Saint-Andre. Highly recommended. The medieval town is also worth exploring.

This Novotel Hotel is located in the center of the Charbonnière Technology Park, just a 10-minute drive from Orléans. It has an outdoor heated swimming pool, a children’s playground and meeting rooms.... We were on route to the South of France and so we were just staying one night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke great English which helped as our French is a little rusty. The room was adequate clean and comfortable. We spent a few hours at the pool which was a good size and then ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was really good and so was the service. The breakfast was really good with so much choice, pastries, fruit, fresh bread, cooked sausage and egg and a range of yoghurts, cheese , ham and cakes. All the family was catered for. Parking is ample and also easy to access.

Fairly close to restaurants and cafés. Beaugency is a lovely medieval village. This place worked fine for us on La Loire à vélo, with safe parking for our bikes and comfy beds.

This isthe last hotel we stayed at on our road trip of France and it was fantastic. Louis at Reception was so helpful in showing us the facilities and arranging pool towels/dinner etc. Great ambience, lovely swimming pool, superb dinner and breakfast on the open verandah, and refurbished rooms. Golf course looked fantastic but no time to have a game.
