Amazing little hotel right in the centre this beautiful village. Ample parking for guests. The room was adjacent to the parking lot on the ground level which was really convenient. The room was large, very clean, very comfy and big bed like in the best hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful (Simone). The hotel has a wonderful bar and excellent restaurant for the evening meal. Absolutely no need to go looking elsewhere although we were also recommended a great burger place just opposite the hotel for lunch. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style - cereals, cheeses, yoghurts and continental, plus tea/coffee and eggs to order.

Everything you could want or need immediately at your fingertips. Quaint but with modern creature comforts, they have literally thought of everything. Impeccable service all around and knowledgeable staff on all things Stow. The food, especially breakfast, was superb. We brought a large group to the lounge/bar after a family funeral and it was a great gathering with lovely cocktails. Thank you for turning an emotional and challenging trip into a bright spot full of warmth and fond memories for myself and my mom. We will be back soon for more! With gratitude, Sarah and Dot

Most beautiful hotel & the view from our bedroom window was exceptional. Bedroom was spacious & lovely & warm & clean. Food was very good. Staff were very pleasant & helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Location was ideal - nice & quiet but easy to get into town if required. Spa facilities were an added bonus We wanted a quiet relaxing stay after the hustle and bustle of Christmas & this certainly met all our expectations.

The whole environment was wonderful - the grounds are so beautifully maintained. The food in both the bistro and the dining room was excellent. The renovations were done so well to maintain the authenticity of the estate. It was also lovely to see that dogs were allowed. We didn't use the spa or the pool but they looked great and we saw people enjoying both.

We were in a room hit by the sun...it was hit and with no AC. We requested to be changed to one eith AC and they did the next day. The staff perfectly moved our clothes to the new room. The staff at the restaurant was very nice. We enjoyed breakfast.

We chose Tewkesbury as it is close to Gloucester but we spent more time at the resort than we did in town. It is a fantastic golf resort (we were not there for golf and did not play) with inviting areas for guests (bar, lounge, outdoor terrace, restaurant, day spa, indoor swimming pool) and gorgeous green views as far as the eye could see, as well as views of the spires and roofline of nearby Tewkesbury Abbey through the trees. The rooms were very comfortable and the beds supremely so. Breakfast was excellent, dinner very good and the bar menu and high tea were both extensive and delicious. Onsite charging stations and inroom coffee machines were appreciated.

Amazing rural location, wonderful building and surroundings. Lots of public spaces in the manor - pool room, library, garden viewing rooms and balconies. The cocktail bar is a real Experimental experience - great cocktail menu, wonderful selection of spirits and very knowledgeable mixologist. The crackling fireplaces everywhere are a real treat in winter. Breakfast is great - all options available (except fresh vegetables...). Dinner at the restaurant is a real high-end experience.

We cooked in for most of our stay, but did have an afternoon tea on the Sunday-ab fab! 2 of my party utilised the treatment facilities and thoroughly enjoyed them-well all used the pool/sauna and steam room-brill!

It was our first time in Cirencester and the first time at an unmanned hotel. The Riverside Hotel. Everything went smoothly from receiving a code for the gate to getting our room key. We were surprised at how lovely and large our room was. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. The only downside was there was no lift. My husband is a fit 82 years old but I have arthritis in both knees and hands and we were on the second floor so I struggled getting up 2 flights of stairs. The tv in the room was small but adequate. There was a lounge on the ground floor with a big tv and a separate games room with pool table and games. Excellent Hotel.

Fantastic architecture.

Fantastic architecture. We arrived on market day at Morton Marsh only 15 minutes drive and well worth a visit. We also did the Clarkson Farm tour best tour I have ever been on the driver Dave made the day.

Charming small town with some interesting independent shops. Easy to walk around. Fudge shop scored highly! Excellent evening meals in the Sheep and Porch House - menus very similar but plenty of choice. Booking advisable.

Nice old Hotel in a pleasant area but this time it did not come up to the mark . Recruiting is a problem for employers with the increase in NI and wages but that is no excuse to lower the standard customers expect. As we were visiting relatives we had no time to sightsee.

Lovely place. Plenty of shops and places to eat. Car musuem, Bird zoo and maze to keep kids entertained. Was very busy but a large car park is sited on the edge of the village which is only 10 mins walk along the river if that.

Good place to visit other towns by bus if you don’t have a car, also a great location to catch a train into Oxford -only takes about half an hour, but most of all the Cotswolds is a fabulous place for walking.

Beautiful grounds and a good location. However this hotel holds a lot of weddings there were 3 during our 2 night stay so atmosphere was chaotic and lots of noise during the night. We couldn’t have breakfast in the main dining room as full at 8am. We were sent to the atrium restaurant which had run out of a lot of items and was also jam packed. Staff seemed to be doing their best against a constant tide of guests. Our room was desperately in need of renovation and very musty so had to keep the windows open. The carpet was very stained otherwise the room was very clean. Considering we paid a rate for a superior room it was very disappointing.

I liked the old-style charm of the town.

I liked the old-style charm of the town. Traffic was heavy due to works on the M5. I came for the poetry festival and had a great time. If I visited again, I would stay an extra night to have time to see everything.
