- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,441 reviewsWe have thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic relaxing week in Jersey thanks mainly to our stay at this nicely located, well managed hotel, staffed by highly competent staff who worked hard to continually provide outstanding customer service. We had a "park view" room which, from the small balcony also gave us a partial view of the beach and lovely sunsets. The beds were very comfortable with clean linen every day and the room was cleaned and prepared such that it was always a pleasure to come back to at the end of a day's sight-seeing. The Internal and external wining and dining facilities were always of a high standard. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection of high quality ingredients to suit most tastes. We had Dinner inside the Terrace Lounge a couple of times where we thoroughly enjoyed a superbly cooked and presented fish dish from the Menu of the Day each time. For the last few evenings the weather was kind enough to enable us to experience a couple of lovely relaxing sessions enjoying cocktails on the outside terrace. Thanks to the staff, facilities and relaxing atmosphere at the Grand Jersey we have just arrived back home feeling thoroughly refreshed and rejuvenated after our first trip to Jersey, which we undertook as foot passengers on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth. We are already planning our next tripGuest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom

It has a lovely beach for children and facilities like a cafe, restaurants, toilets. A car park is close if needed. We ate at the Crab Shack and one night at Pizza Express as we were with young children, both of which were great. This is our second time staying here, enough said!!Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Our room overlooked St Clements bay area but not a beach to visit because we had a car we travelled around the Island and found some good sunbathing beaches. Outside the hotel are bus stops that can take you around also to the busy area of St Helier with good shops and restaurantsGuest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Jersey is not very big, but all the parishes have something to offer. St Saviour is on the East side of the island and close to St Helier town centre. Several good hotels and eating places. There is a Howard Davis Park, the War Tunnels, St Saviours Church, and the Hotel de Normandie has an Ayurvedic Spa, has several schools/colleges, and its famous people like Lillie Langtry (1853–1929), British-American socialite, actress and producer from St Saviour.Guest review byMulholland - 10.0

My visit was short as I was there whilst attending a famiy funeral. I appreciated Gorey's picturesque setting, and the proximity of the bus stop to my hotel , which made getting around straightforward. I don't have any photos to share.Guest review byMargaret - 10.0
What an absolute hidden gem of a place!
What an absolute hidden gem of a place! Plenty of quality walks from that location. It is quite quiet though so if you want somewhere 'vibrant' then you would be better off in St Helier but if you want quality and a quieter stay then this is the place for you.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
There is a huge and lovely beach here.
There is a huge and lovely beach here. The area is good for swimming/surfing and it is not too busy. There are lifeguards on a southern section of the beach. We spent a week on Jersey but we could easily have enjoyed a couple of weeks as, beyond the beach itself, there is miles of easily accessible coastline to walk and explore.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Great place to stay, picturesque, quaint, very 'chocolate box'. Fab if you like that sort of thing, I guess. It is a little off the beaten track but again, that's probably a plus. Not much choice for eating and what is there, apart from the 'Hungry Man' cafe, is not cheap. Could do with a general stores perhaps?Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

while we were there it was fairly busy, but nice to see shops still being used not boarded up, there was a great choice of pub/restaurants there but a lot of walking does take place in order to find what you may be looking for. there are plenty of benches for you to take a break on though. there are plenty of parks, and the esplanade area is a nice way to have a stroll and an ice cream or drinks.Guest review byAnonymous
