United StatesRoom was clean and the view was great! I loved the sink in the room. Bed was a bit too soft for me, but comfortable. It was odd sharing a bathroom, but it was just my friend and I in the 2 rooms so it worked out great!! I liked that the shower was separate from the toilet. And having sinks in the rooms made the separate bathroom part much easier. The owner was wonderful and friendly and her cats were adorable. We also really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant! Excellent food at a reasonable price!

A lovely setting. Just right for our family as the wee one could run around on the massive lawn outside. The lodge was spotless, fully equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Less than 10mins drive from Drumnadrochit and 30mins from Inverness. Simon was really friendly and saw us tothe lodge to provide all important information. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back!

Brilliant location for exploring Loch Ness and Newis/Fort William. Great hosts, brilliant food and amazing rooms. The beds here were great, we all slept so well throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

Small compact town, but with a few options for food places, gift shops and a short walk to go in search of the loch ness monster. Or you can watch boats navigate the locks right in the middle of town. Town in the evening was nice and calm and first thing in the morning also. By midday it was pretty busy with day trippers so keep that in mind

It has been a few years since I was last in Drumnadrochit, It has grown since my last visit. More amenities for locals and tourists, the people their are friendly, The local hub was informative and there were a lot of information signs too. Great wee place to visit.

The drive to Hazelgrove along the lochside with the trees in their full autumnal colours was amazing. The property is set in a spectacular fully enclosed garden which out two dogs just loved. Great walks. Tores pub great food. Foyers cafe run by lovely guys who love to talk.

A lovely village with a small shop where you could buy food and drink, a hotel offering meals and a great cafe. It's also next to lots of trails so you don't have to get in your car to go hiking. And a beautiful river runs through it.

The whole experience at this place was excellent.
The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀

The dining experience is restaurant quality.
Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.

Drumnadrochit is a lovely village next to Loch ness, there are a few village shops and a couple of pubs. You can visit the Loch ness Centre, which tells you the history of the famous Loch ness Monster. I would also recommend booking a boat tour with Loch Ness Cruises in the Village. They take you out on the Loch with their boat the Nessy Hunter, which is very good.
You also have Urquhart Castle down the road, I'd recommend getting the 919 bus, this will collect you from the bus stop by the Village green and take you straight to the castle.
The Loch ness Inn is a good place for food or drink and does some lovely food.
You also have access to some good woodland walks too.

we only had chance to drive through, so can't really comment...
we only had chance to drive through, so can't really comment. Farigaig where the accommodation was is approx 50 yards on. We were also on a very quiet road which easily took us thte the Tomatin distillery, our first stop the next day, so convenient, and we got to see something of Loch Ness en route.

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.
