És un hotel molt maco a un poble allunyat d'Edimburg. Tot i així, hi ha una parada de bus just al costat d'un bus que et porta fins al centre en 45 min. Està prou aprop de l'hospital veterinari universitari, pel que si hi has d'anar, està prou bé i em bus arribes en uns 20 min. El poble és molt tranquil i bucòlic. Els passejos pel poble eren agradables. L'habitació era prou gran, amb un llit de matrimoni gran, un armari de bona mida, un tocador força gran també i dues butaques. A l'armari tens un assecador gran. Al tocador et donen dos parells de snacks de cortesia i una gasosa de taronja, a més del típic kettle amb sobres de tè, cafè i sucres i edulcorants, apart dels potets de llet. El lavabo era una mica rudimentari, però la dutxa tenia una petita caldera elèctrica directament connectada. Al cafè d'abaix no hi tenien una haggis molt bons, però el personal era excel·lent i molt amable. Ens van preparar uns cafès per emportar abans i tot que obrissin, mentre estaven preparant per obrir. Si demanes un té tradicional, et dóna per 3 tasses com a mínim.
