Lovely rooms, modern decoration, great food and atmosphere in the pub but the rooms are in a separate building which means it's nice and quiet. Really pet friendly with a little welcome package for our dog which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend

We received a very warm welcome from the host. It is a lovely little B&B with a good mix of antiques and new design. Everything is very lovingly decorated. For breakfast we had homemade jam and even the butter is homemade. The location couldn't be better is in the heart of Arundel. There are many small antique shops and cafes. The castle is a few minutes walk away. We would love to come back!

We felt so at home from the moment we arrived Nigel & Robina were wonderful , we felt so at home . It was great to be off the beaten track , yet close to stately homes , quaint villages , all things Jane Austin and an hour from Portsmouth. The house is so beautiful , we enjoyed learning about the history . Personalized service at breakfast , excellent food . Robins recommended the nearby Ye old George Inn for dinner . We loved it and food was excellent. Bed was soft for us but we just prefer a firmer bed . Lovely grounds to explore . Easy parking right in front .

Lewes is a wonderful small town situated within the South Downs. It is quirky with its own real charm. Conveniently located for both the beautiful countryside and easy access by train to Brighton for its cosmopolitan vibe and beaches. Access to the beach is not too difficult for someone whose joints creak a bit. A long slope with hand rail is helpful. Our sunny but bracing walk along the prom was enlivened by cheerful visitors and dogs . The outdoor cafe afforded shelter from the wind and good coffee. After 2 hours we walked slowly into the village and were charmed by the buildings and quirky shops, the Grange library and art gallery, duck pond and church with Burne Jones windows. We found very clean toilets inside the church too. Thanks for this.We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Rottingdean.

Petworth House (owned by the National Trust) has one of the biggest and best collections of art and sculpture in England. Its car park is 10 minutes walk away, but you can use it also to walk out into the interesting old town/village, which has hardly any parking: the ticket for the House allows you to come back in again. The House has a big deer park with lake, with big views, which you should allow an hour or two to walk around, and have tea and cake when you get back.

Seaford is a great start point for the coastal walks in this area. Walking from Seaford to Eastbourne is a big challenge but rewarded with amazing views and an easy bu service to get back too. There are a few little gems in the town to eat in as well, I would recommend Pablo Picasso's.
